Beautiful spot. Mario was a fantastic host, and was perfect for a weekend away from CDMX. Loved how eco-friendly the whole place was, and our dog loved it too with the big fenced in yard.
Fantastic view over the city and would highly recommend waking up for sunrise one morning on the balcony!

It is a very nice little town but I go mostly for the massages which are great and the best spa is Shangri La on the main street. The food at the Rancho San Diego is excellent and the location superb.

Tacos in el mercado are always my favorite, hot springs are a must, the water park, horse back riding, you have to check out the market in the town center on Sundays. Be careful with street food as it can introduce flora your stomach isn't expecting but also...it's sooooo good. Get some esquites, chicharrones, sopes, gorditas, flautas, micheladas, pan dulce, cafe de olla, god I could go on. Enjoy!

The hotel is very nice, however looks dates and poorly maintained.
The food is expensive and not a lot of variaety.
We asked for a crib from the reserve and it was delivered just before 8pm, my daughter had to skip 1 nap because of that.
The swiming pool from kids was disgustingly dirty, we couldn't see the bottom of the pool.
The go-karts wasn't attended nor functioning.
The rooms are fine, comfy and clean.
Breakfast was very complete and delicious. The staff always made an extra effort to provide anything that wasn't on sight. The staff was extra helpful!
And the hotel is beautiful and perfect for kids and adults alike. There's no better hotel for children.
Sink clogged. Bathroom filthy. No shampoos. Cafeteria opening time was unreliable. Price per night outrageous for hotel category. I'd give it a 2 stars and bedspreads smelly not clean at all
The staff was all great and the lobby and bar of the hotel have been remodeled recently. Those were the only nice things. Oh, and the weather was good.
