The host, Ana, has been incredibly sweet and caring and brought me things to make my stay really comfortable.
It’s nice to have privacy and space but feel safe at the same time. The Van is on a fenced property and has a security camera as well.
It’s like a comfortable camping experience but with your own bathroom and electricity and running water.
Located 1 hour and 30 minutes’ drive south from La Paz, Las Terrazas del Cortés features an outdoor pool. WiFi access is available free of charge.

Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite remote but that gives it its charm. You are within walking distance from a few convenience stores in town which has basics if you forget something. Overall it was a lovely stay!

Punta Pescadero is truly a remote paradise. All rooms face the ocean, with an amazing fresh breeze and sound of breaking waves all night long. There are two clean beaches, and wonderful rocks to explore with snorkeling and kayaks. The beaches are basically private to the hotel, as they're shared only with the 8 houses nearby. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Good free entertainment options at the hotel - billiard room, board games, corn hole, pool. The hotel was off the beaten track, but not hard to reach. Follow the paved road from Los Barriles to the small village of El Cardonal, then take the sandy dirt road for 10 km to the hotel. Our small compact rental car made it just fine.

The location on the hotel's own beach and the hot springs are great, in the sea and in the pool. Very nice area with lots of palm trees and flowering plants everywhere, fountains in between, and the pool is also nice with the loungers around it. The hotel has its own loungers/sun protection on the beach at no additional cost. Comfortable bed, parking space at the entrance. Free drinking water from our own source is provided. Nice place to relax.

A really nice stay for a family or couple who wants a couple days of quiet or to get off the beaten path. Excellent views, shells on the beach, areas to swim/snorkel, and very good food for dinner and breakfast. I plan to return.

Very removed.
Very removed. If you want to explore the area, not the place to stay. We wanted to check out Cabo Pulmo and Los Barilles. It worked, but we wish it was closer to town. If you want to lie on the beach and not go anywhere, the location is ok. If you have a 4WD, would be fun to explore the beach road and drive on beach. We had a VW sedan and couldn't do any of that.

The best thing about this hotel is the views and relaxing atmosphere. Our least favorite thing was the Mexican combination dinner. It is a very tranquil place and just what we needed for an overnight getaway.
