Our host Hannah-Laura was lovely and very helpful during our stay. We were only there for 2 nights as we visited Efteling and the drive was only 15-20 minutes to get there by car. The accommodation is a good size and our attic family room looked out over the fields and caravan park. The views reminded us of a Van Gogh painting. In the evenings the place was quiet and the attic room was the perfect place to just chill out and chat. It was warm and cosy and the breakfast room ample with all the facilities you'd expect from a self-catering experience. The local town had a supermarket called Plus about 10-15 minutes away by car.

Bastion Hotel Tilburg has a very good location along the A58, close to the city centre of Tilburg, a 5-minute drive from shops, museums and restaurants.

the hotel is a beautiful old building with of timber used for walls and decoration. i was my wife's birthday and the staff really went out of their way to do something special for her. atmosphere is fantastic and the food is very good.

I liked the remoteness of the location, it was super quiet! The bed was very comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean and it was nice having a fridge. The hotel had a restaurant which we didn’t use in the evening as it was very busy, but we had breakfast the following morning before checking out which was lovely. The gentleman who took our order also said if there was something we fancied that wasn’t on menu, they would try their best to accommodate and make it for us.

The spacious room and its facilities. We booked the deluxe double room which has a big bed, a sitting area, a dining area and a kitchenette. There were coffee and tea facilities, and cleaning soap. For the bathroom, there were bathrobes, towels, toiletries and even complimentary samples of the scents that can be bought at the reception. The room has a door that opens to a patio, across which is another building where breakfast is served. There is a playground at the corner outside. Clean! Our room looked, felt and smelled clean. The surroundings are also clean. The breakfast buffet. It was varied and plentiful. We were happy to have warm food, such as scrambled eggs and bacon, and fresh fruits. The peace and quietness of the place. It was a weekday off-season when we stayed here so there were only a handful of guests. Convenient parking right next to the property. Please note that Gasterij Hotel Dennenoord is outside Recreatiepark Dennenoord, just before the entrance to the Recreatiepark. The location is off the main roads. Friendly and hospitable host. We appreciate the personal communication during check-in and at breakfast.
