The Guldenburg, is a slightly ageing, but interesting clean looking 60's designed building, set in a lovely wooded area. The single bed room I stayed in, was comfortable and was clean and had adequate amenities. The bedroom / bathroom could be updated but was adequate and clean. The breakfast menu could be expanded and was somewhat limited in its cold platter and warm dishes, but the breakfast room has a lovely open view overlooking the horse corral. Danny's East Resteraunt has a better menu and was very good. All of the Staff encountered, were friendly, polite and efficient. Well worth the price, and would certainly use the hotel again. The price was very reasonable compared to other alternatives. The rooms are compact and small (as advertised - therefore there were no surprises), and it has all you need. Breakfast was very good, with friendly staff in a large and well-appointed dining room. Given the number of single rooms, I believe it's a great place for a solo traveller.

Nice recreation area/ theatre where you can see a movie every day for little money. There is a bar as well so you can have a drink while watching. Seating here is top with sofas and couches (chesterfields). Breakfast area with nice view on the woods and stable with horses.
