The local Restaurants and drinks were expensive on the the Beach area. However a Restaurant called De Oases was very good value. The Ferry crossing seemed long due to the speed it travelled. I would recommend buying food from the supermarket rather than eating out

The hotel had a great courtyard to relax in after our bike ride from Amsterdam. There was cold beer available from the breakfast room at a very reasonable cost which we appreciated😀 as we sat in the sun. The owners very very friendly and accomodating and the room was great. Breakfast was very good from the salmon, meat , cheeses, fresh fruit and yogurt. There was also cereal and bakery products. This was a very well laid out continental breakfast. Excellent value for the money
This is a historic hotel on the main square in the village of Hoek van Holland. The staff were without fail friendly & helpful. We had the best night's sleep here of our entire 2 week trip! The room was wonderful - with a mezzanine for the comfortable bed. An amazing shower! The breakfast was very good, and the evening meal in the restaurant was splendid. This hotel is very well placed for the ferry to Harwich, the Metro to both Rotterdam, Scheidam - and now - to the beach.
Excellent location in the center of Hook of Holland, close to shopping, restaurants, train station, and port. Free public parking within a few blocks. Lovely hotel, and very nice room. Coffee/tea facilities in room, along with a refrigerator. Very good breakfast. Be careful on the staircase as it is steep, but there is a lift available.
Perfect location - the nearest hotel to the dunes, which is great for families with kids. Anyhow this is a hotel in camping area - very comfortable for "camping" type of tourists. Modest but with all facilities needed for a stay. The communication with the staff was friendly, in fact the staff is great. We'll visit it again.
Convenient spot for cycle touring. There was a locked shed for bikes. Rooms are easily accessed with outdoor entrance. Very clean. Helpful friendly staff. Heads up about mornings: hotel is not doing breakfast but offers it at Hotel Amerika in town just a 5 minute walk away (if you cut through Albert Heijn shop).
Travelled to Hoek van Holland for a weekend, had a very pleasant and comfortbale stay in the hotel (super clean, comfortable, cozy). You can reach the beach by taking a walk and observing the surroundings, shops are a few minutes away. An interesting area to stay :) recommended.
A great location next to the port and close to the centre. Free parking is available. The room was big, the beds comfy and the bathroom was great. The coffee in the room was appreciated as well. The room lies next to a train station, but the passing trains are not disturbing.
Decent hotel in a building which has a century of history. If you come by car you can leave your vehicle nearby on the street for free. The breakfast was good, the rooms were spacious and clean. There are multiple restaurants available in walking distance from the hotel.
Large and clean room with very comfortable bed close to the port and beach. Breakfast, which was rich, was located in Hotel Amerika less than 1 km away. The restaurant related to the House offered excellent dishes as well and completed the overall stay.
I had a great stay at this hotel. It's walking distance to the train and ferry and very calm and peaceful. Staff was very friendly and took extra time to communicate with me even though I barely know any dutch and don't know any German.
Lovely clean rooms, great breakfast and absolutely fantastic staff - super helpful and friendly, we can't praise them enough. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone who is planning on visiting Hoek van Holland.
We loved the location (Hoek van Holland is in-between Rotterdam and The Hague); beds were comfortable; gratis and easily accessible parking; offered water, coffee, tea, plus, syrup waffles ('stroopwafels') in the room.
2 minutes drive from ferry. Lovely breakfast included. Allowed us to stay in the lounge after check out until our ferry. Free on road parking outside hotel. Pet friendly room with access to a closed courtyard.
Beautiful hotel with a nice fit and finish. The staff was wonderfully polite and helpful, the breakfast was nice and the location is super convenient to the metro, bus line and ferry terminal.
A new hotel with character inside an old hotel. We started our cycle tour here with breakfast which was excellent, so we finished our tour, staying for bed and breakfast.
Fantastic breakfast, super clean, very comfortable bed and wonderful location!! Planning to visit again next year!! So happy we chose to stay at Hotel Amerika !!
Hotel is great value for money. Staff is very helpful and kind. Beds are comfortable, rooms are big enough. Proximity of a very good chinese restaurant.
