And despite me asking Pieter Jan, the nice gentleman who runs the establishment with his lovely wife Jeanette, if I could check in at around 22:00 due to my late flight, the man graciously waited by the door of the hotel to greet my and welcome me to the family home. This was really the greatest hotel or B&B that I've stayed at in ages!

There was outside pace for sitting in the evening. Maasland is only a few miles from Hook of Holland very port so very convenient as an overnight before or after a crossing.
