The room was cute and very welcoming. I loved that we could prepare coffee and tea in the room. Matrassess and pillows were very comfortable. The room was warm and this is very appreaciative during Dutch rainy weather. Great curtains they blocked the outdoor light perfectly. The toilet and the shower were impecable. We got provided with enough towels.

This place is a Gem. Not really in the city center and behind outdoor activity places so you didn't expect much but the hotel was great. New and relatively modern and right on the beach. The room was fine, the breakfast had a super selection. And I I felt for the first time on our trip that the price was right. - I can also recommend the restaurant right across the way. - The food was really tasty.

The hotel is located at city center where i have many choices for restaurants. Besides the food of the restaurant is very delicious, I recommend to try some Vietnamese dishes they offer. The staffs are nice since they have staff speaking English and smile at me all the time. The room of course can not compare to other big hotels, but with that reasonable price, I can not ask more.

The community property and location was amazing. We loved the short walk to the playground, beach, recreational facilities, and restaurants. The space was plenty big for our family of four. The bottle of wine was a kind and appreciated gesture. The beds were comfy and the property had what we needed to prepare snacks/light meals.

It was a creative space, like a little wooden cabin with an “outdoor” front porch within a large warehouse designed to feel like a beach community so was fun to stay at. The owners are very friendly and helpful, meeting specific requests. There is free parking on site. It was very clean and comfortable.

I slept and missed breakfast, the bed was so comfortable, but the restaurant, bar and food selection were first class, amazing, more like a five-star hotel. I understand that the owners are both expert chefs and wine and beer connoisseurs. Lien is from Vietnam and specializes in exotic Asian dishes.

Lots of space, great living room, good sofas, very good kitchen, spacious and functional WC, good shower. Located in a very well treated and cosy place. We really enjoyed the chalet and the surroundings, altough the rain. Makkum certainly deserves a visit. At Jumbo,you can find everything you need.

Friendly staff & comfortable room. Hotel is looking a bit jaded in parts but about to undergo a major extension, so I'd expect this will lift the overall property. Hotel is immediately adjacent to the beach & there are plenty of family oriented facilities nearby.

There was a wide variety of choice for breakfast. Personnel was really kind and welcoming, at disposal for any issue. Location was perfect for me, right in the center. Optional dinner at the restaurant inside was very good.

Owner and staff both perfectly nice and available. Everything worked, and the location is great, close to the beach, and reception, and you can park by the chalet. The living room is rather large for for a mobile home.

The location of the hotel is great. Makuum is a very nice small local towns with great people. The breakfast was nice. They have a tasty menu and a decent variety. Nice view for the renovated side of the hotel

Location is perfect, right in the middle of Makkum. And we had a free parking spot right behind the hotel. Mattresses are fine, although they could be a bit wider.
