Best place to stay for 2-3 nights to explore the western part of Lofoten. Fully furnished cabin is best so you can easily cook or reheat food as your own convenient time. Most importantly to enjoy the surrounding. Immerse in the serenity atmosphere and just chill 😎

An amazing beach, great for swimming if you don’t mind the chilly waters, and beautiful photo ops. Area is also great for hiking, short to long trips. Super Market is available, and the food at Ramberg gjestegård was delicious, and has outdoor seating for those lovely summer evenings.

The best place to base yourself when staying on Lofoten.
The best place to base yourself when staying on Lofoten. Whatever the reason for your visit to Lofoten, Ramberg is really central for visiting most locations and has excellent facilities for visitors, coffee shops, an excellent supermarket and fuel station. Other locations may be more picturesque - there are no robur cabins here, but the location is still stunning. I was planning my next visit on the return flight home!

We were supposed to spend the night camping in a tent but it was raining and a wind speed warning was given by the weather forecast. So we decided to book a room. It was a small room with beds, nothing else but that's all that we needed. There are shared toilets with showers and a nice kitchen/living room area with a view to the beach and sea. Everything was very clean, the staff was nice and friendly. The only complaint I can think of was the creaky door of our room and that's a minor grievance. Beautiful location worth visiting!

The picture windows have a beautiful view, and we saw the northern lights from the sofa, and photographed them from the balcony. There are seals swimming in front of the balcony every day and we saw an eagle fishing right outside. Location is great - 15 minutes to drive to tourist sites in Hamnoy, or to shops and beaches around Ramberg. Fantastic stay.ClaireUnited Kingdom
