Lisa & Anthony are lovely hosts! Their Waipu Cove home is beautiful and our room & bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Lots of windows so wonderful light & views of their property. Breakfast was delightful and conversation with fellow guests was enjoyable.

Lovely studio apartment with a view of the sand dunes sea. Very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the kitchenette. It was close to the Mangawhei Coastal Walkway.

We were met by the host, shown our room and the keys were in the door and our name and room number were on an outside board. Very easy.
It is very close to the Mangawhai Heads shopping center with many cafes and a very good home bakery, also close to the Golf Club and the Bowling Club.

Absolutely stunning beach with white sand and surfable waves...
Absolutely stunning beach with white sand and surfable waves whilst we were there. Looking to the sea, on the left around the rocks is Lang's Cove which is accessible at low time (or you can walk down from the road when the tide is higher). Lang's Cove is one of the most stunning beaches I've seen and is a must visit. Also the walk from Lang's Beach to Waipu Cove is absolutely breathtaking with rocks just like those at Punakaiki. It's 1 1/2 hours each way.
