I was able to check in immediately upon arrival, which was wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean and had a great view of the church on one side and Misti on another. The location is good, approx 15-20min on foot to Plaza de Armas, plenty of eateries and small shops around. Breakfast was basic, but good and made of fresh ingredients.

Arequipa is a very nice city different from the other cities in Peru, a very clean and welcoming town. I think it has a lot to offer from the mountains to the coast! Colca canyon is a must! Amazing place to relax and enjoy the mountains and the peaceful towns. Downtown is also really nice with good restaurants, cafes, museums and nice churches that are open to visit in the day. There are also nice typical restaurants around the city where they serve local and delicious dishes. Arequipa is totally recommended for 2 to 4 days.

Nice city with an attractive historical centre with Santa Catalina Monastery the absolute top attraction, an amazing place with an amazing history. Do not miss a trip to Colca Canyon to see the condors, that is amazing and this is one of the few places in the world where you can see condors. Another must see site is The founder of Arequipa (Garci Manuel de Carbajal) mansion, about 20 km outside the city. In two to three days you will be able to cover the above mentioned attractions.

A beautiful city!
A beautiful city! Lots of culinary options to choose from, especially in the city center around Plaza des Armas! If you need to try anything in particular, go for Kam Thai Cuisine and Mumis for their tasting course, as well as for Pachamanca at Don Beto a bit outside of the city center.
Anything you need can be reached by foot, also, the taxis are reliable.
The guides of all the tours were well trained and gave you all the information needed!
I can only recommend going to Arequipa if you have the chance, for my part, I'll certainly come back one day :)
climbing Nevado Chachani, Laguna Salinas, climbing Ubinas vulcano
La Lecoreta Monastery with Museum and Library, Mercado san Camilo, Viewpoint Square in the Yanahuara District, Santa Catalina Monastery Complex, Santuarios Andinos University Museum with the Juanita Mummy
Liked everything, from the very beginning moment.
I was thinking to cancel the reservation here to look for another hotel closer to plaza. Thanks God I didn't cancel it. Hotel is amazing, nice decorated, rooms were big, clean.
But the most amazing thing was that they checked in us at 8am, because we arrived to Arequipa early in the morning and also we got 8 rooms instead of 6, so those who were nor couples had their own rooms.
Not enough words to thank all of the staff for amazing stay.
See you next time!
Best hotel that I have ever stayed and the top notch service!
Upon arrival and during the stay, Deborah was super helpful and sweet. They have an amazing breakfast and it's such a lovely place. It is not right by the main square but we liked it better as the place was quiet. Beautiful view as well, there's no need to go to any other rooftop bar.
We want to go back to Arequipa just to stay here again, that's how much we loved it!
We traveled to Arequipa to enjoy a concert and were delighted to find ourselves right at the heart of it. The hotel was located right at the heart of Arequipa, allowing us to move freely around the city. Also, its lobby gave us a warm welcome with a mix of Arequipa's Ancient history and a warm room to rest. The staff was very polite and quick to attend to our requests. A lovely experience
Central location, very helpful staff and an excellent left luggage service for trekking. There was noise into the night coming from the surrounding area, but unlike previous reviews this did not keep us awake and besides noise in the central areas of the cities in Peru is par for the course.
Great views of the sunset from the rooftop bar.
We also took advantage of the Spanish language classes offered as well as the Peruvian Cooking experience. Giovanna was an excellent teacher and gave us lots of practical tips for communicating on in various settings. Armando and his staff were so friendly and accommodating. We felt so welcome throughout our 5 night stay!
Location very nice -walking distance from downtown.
Relaxed surroundings with a very attending french peruvian couple, always there for you.
I can recommend to stay in Elisa when you want a upper scale hotel in Arequipa, that include the possibilities for Business and Leisure in one compo.
Very charming place:)
Amazing hotel in Arequipa. Very comfortable beds, good showers, great views. Exceptionally helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious and they were able to accommodate our special dietary requirements. 15-20 min by foot to the city center. Very safe and quiet location. Highly recommended!
The location was perfect for easy access into the main areas of central Arequipa, The staff were fantastic and very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area, restaurants and things to do and see. The hotel has a lovely chilled urban chic vibe which we really liked
Very close to Plaza de Armas and many restaurants and shops. Old stonework in the lobby and main arreas was gorgeous, though rooms are updated to accommodate modern amenities. Staff were polite and there were elevators—a rarity in Peruvian hotels for sure.
The hotel and the staff is really wonderful and welcoming.
They were really accomodation and provided us early checkin after a long travel from Europe.
They provided a very nice breakfast pack for us, out of all the hotels in Peru, theirs was the best!
Wonderful a la carte breakfast with fresh, warm bread served daily. Try their hot chocolate- best we’ve had in Perú. Fantastic staff that went above and beyond in attentive care. Hotel is located just a block from the main plaza in Arequipa.
- Nice rooms, cleaned everyday
- Helpful and lovely staff
- Spacious but cold bathroom (luckily with a hot shower which is not so common in Peru)
- Amazing location (in the heart of Arequipa and close to many cafes, restaurants and shops)
This hotel is located directly on Arequipa's main square. We motorcycled in at a super busy time and the staff were very helpful, assisted unloading and with parking our bike. The food was excellent, especially breakfast.
The restaurant was great in the hotel. Natalie and Maribell were extremely attentive to our requests. The chicken sandwich with fries was the best we've eaten in Peru and we've lived here for 11 months.
Our stay was really short. We only stayed for one night. The decor of the interier was really nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located conveniently in the heart of Arequipa.
Excellent hotel, in a perfect location. The room was beautiful and above expectations and the roof top is amazing! Tip: the pisco sour was the best I tasted during my two weeks trip around Peru
The best breakfast we had in Peru, with a main dish, variety of pastry, juices, eggs, fruits, good coffee. Comfortable rooms, good value for money. location was good too.
