Lovely stay, lovely family and lovely pets. Kids (and adults!) had a wonderful time and Megan & Julian were welcoming hosts. They have put much effort into the lodge with nice attention to detail and guest comfort. Location was private, remote and quiet. We loved the private boat/snorkel trip we took with Nico, (Julian's brother) offered at a discount to guests of lodge, with underwater pics included! This was such a treat, and well worth the experience. Why anyone would choose to stay at a sterile resort over an experience like this baffles us all. We are sending much gratitude "from across the pond" for a wonderful stay and hope to return soon! Million de Remerciements!

A waterfront bungalow with a deck? We absolutely loved it. We wanted a waterfront experience without paying the crazy high prices of an overwater bungalow, and this was an awesome option for a good price! I don't really understand the negative reviews of this place. If you read the description and listen to the check-in instructions upon your arrival, everything is made super clear!
Yes, it's by the road, as are most of the houses and hotels on this island since the road follows the coastline. Yes, there are some bugs, but that's what's to be expected when you're staying on a tropical island. No, there's no beach (as you can see in the photos), and there really only are a couple of beaches on the entire island, but there's a dock you can swim off of and amazing snorkeling just outside your bedroom door. What more could you ask for?
Our bed had a mosquito net and a fan kept us nice and cool in the evenings. The staff was incredibly kind and informed us of the meal times upon our arrival. Most of the island follows those same meal times too. I highly recommend!

I loved the location and the serenity of it, I loved to sit on the benches on the bay and read. Allo pizza food amazing. You need a car here in order to get to the shops and beaches, but I knew this when I booked and was happy. Few nice places in walking distance and supermarket about 15 min walk. This place is great value, and meant the money I saved I spent on car and excursions. I would stay again, as a very family feel, being a single traveller I felt very safe here and looked after

The host and her family ,so chilled and laid back ,I felt really comfortable there ,great location ,and views ,you wouldent know u were in a family house it was large enough to have your own space, ,and you were welcome to use facilities if you wanted ,great sitting area in conservatory area, you can get transfer from Chantelle for 1800 each way and she will stop if you need supplies in the way,,there’s a tour place few minutes away, and supervmarche Aussie ,,and hotel for food up to after lunch ,a car is needed if you want to explore ,lagoon tour with Sici ,fabulous and I don’t swim
