Modern, relaxing hotel with large rooms a short walk from the historic town of Serpa. A good place to stay on a road trip through this part of Portugal. Parking included and we booked a rate with an excellent breakfast buffet. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom plus double shower and bathtub was a bonus.

The proprietor was one of the most welcoming I have encountered in my 80,000km bicycle ride around the world. Greeting us with “Bring the bicycles inside and store them securely on the patio.” Music to a cyclist’s ears! And very friendly and pointing us to the “best restaurant within 100 kilometers.” True! And, conveniently, 100 meters from the hotel. The hotel was charming and super clean and super comfortable.
