It was a lovely apartment, clean and welcoming. Had a problem working the AC thing. Apartment was cold when I got there and I didn't know that AC units did hot air as well as cold. Was great having things like the herbs and spices, etc. There was also a big bowl of fruit and a welcome continental basket with pastries and things in. Quite central to the shops and a lovely, welcoming cafe next door. Chinese shop very handy for things you've forgotten, like I did, A plug adapter for my charger.
Lovely little balcony as well. Just a shame my visit was a wash out, so I didn't get to sit there.

Super nice and helpful host. Cottage was clean and there was AC which was super useful. Well equipped and large bathroom. Small playground for children is a plus. Location is good, with a small village just at a 10 minute drive (with pharmacy, cafes, supermarket, etc). Really close to Fragas de São Simão.

The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and stylish. The host made an effort to meet us in person, which was nice. Highly recommended!
We stayed as a family of four in the cottage. When we booked, we were fully aware that the property is ideal for 2 as the sofa bed is small. However the natural beauty of the surroundings was absolutely breathtaking and magical. Our two daughters of 21 and 18 were in absolute awe of the place! The rustic cottage was beautifully renovated and clean and we were delighted! I strongly recommend renting this property if you want to experience a magical stay swimming in your private natural pond in the morning, eating as you watch the river flow 10 meters away and falling asleep to the rustling of leaves and the flowing waters of Praga SAO SIMAO. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED! The host was very quick to reply to all our messages. Thank you!
