    We loved it!

We loved it! So beautiful, the sunrise was breathtaking and so were the views. An early morning walk on the wetlands and the flamingos were incredible. A couple of minutes walk to the buzzing square - full of locals and energy. The beach was heavenly. It was really special. The observations I made were just purely to enhance an already wonderful experience. Thankyou

Fuzeta is a fishing village/small town.

Fuzeta is a fishing village/small town. It is quiet and welcoming in January and there is a good choice of restaurants. There are lovely walks in the Ria Formosa National Park and along the beaches.

    Beautiful little fishing town.

Beautiful little fishing town. I’d say perfect for a romantic or relaxing stay. Not much to do but walk eat relax and sleep… perfect ! Beautiful architecture in the houses in a classic Portuguese design. There was even a veg/ vegan restaurant! Locals allow you to just fit in without bother. Beach is stunning and interesting. We got a taxi from Faro airport which took about 25 minutes and was 35 euros. The drivers both ways w ere very informative about the area so it’s worth picking their brains. If you are coming here be prepared for a sleepy relaxing town… well out of season anyway. I don’t think many no. Portuguese tourist come here so it’s very authentic

    We liked Estudios Salinas!

We liked Estudios Salinas! In the summer it would be a great place to stay in summer. In April there was no ferry to the beach, and I think that should be stated. Also, more info about how to get to beaches would be appreciated, such as: go to Olhao and take a ferry. The water taxis and boat trips from Fuzeta were extorsion--way too expensive for every day. But Fuzeta is a nice village, the choice of restaurants and cafes is nice, the lagoon is scenic for one day.

Fuzeta in March was warm and sunny and quiet.

Fuzeta in March was warm and sunny and quiet. We understand it gets very busy in high season but this was perfect for a relaxed week. Nowhere is more than 10 minutes walk away. There are four supermarkets, a chemist and a newsagent, a microbrewery, two Tapas Bars, two coffee & cake cafes, a very good vegetarian restaurant and several superb fish restaurants. Clean beach, interesting church and cemetery and a railway station!

During our stay we had accommodations in the Ria Suite. This is a comfortable room with an en-suite bathroom and an attached patio that offers stunning views of the lagoons and sea. Very well kept property and walking distance to the quayside and Fuseta (awesome bird watching). It was easy to hop a ferry to Ilha Fuseta or enjoy the beach on the lagoon. The hosts, Jose and Francoise, were absolutely top notch - and their restaurant recommendations were ON POINT! Highly recommend this location - quiet, clean and comfortable.

The position , the house, the village, the view. The main double bedroom was amazing. The house is beautifully decorated. When encountered a problem with outside light, they were prompt in there response. This property is close to the restaurants in the village and they are fantastic. ( Booking advised even though it was early June). Close to ferry to fuseta island. There is also a train station in the village, which we used to visit Faro & Tavira.

The host is super accommodating, always available to help you, and goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. The breakfast is great! Our stay was amazing, so thanks you very much Vila Fuzeta! My wife and I spent 9 days at Vila Fuzeta, it was our basecamp to enjoy the Algarve and to get some ‘well deserved’ rest. Valter's B&B suited perfectly for that job, he is taking hospitality to a next level and made us feel home before we even arrived... Don't forget to book the breakfast, like we did, otherwise you will regret it!

The proprietor - Sofia was unreal, We made a major mistake, leaving a bag behind - and she was able to settle us down, get a cab and contact the place where the bag had been left.. Awesome service! The room was spacious, clean and very well organized, It was a short walk from Fuseta town square. Excellent value for our money!

Our second visit to the apartments Salinas and it was just as good as the first. The apartment was spotless, and, as an ex hotel housekeeper, I know my cleaning. Even the inside of the kettle gleamed. Well done to the team.
