It was very modern, colorful and clean mini house. Joan was very nice and helpful. She asked in advance what do we want for breakfast and we had it in the refrigerator.

The hostess was very obliging, given my lack of Portuguese and her lack of English. The accomodation has everything you need in it and a lovely bbq area to relax in . The parking is secure.

Small quaint village on crest of hillside, 15 minutes away from Monsanto. Castelo ruins on top to hike to and we saw some trails up in the hills behind the town which were lovely, but too hot for hiking in 41 degree weather. The municipal pool fed with fresh water in a small valley is a lovely area to explore. People are friendly and helpful.
