Most magical place located in a vineyard in a small village North of Porto. We stayed for one night and loved it so much that we simply shopped for tapas in the supermarket near by to enjoy the property even more instead of going to a restaurant for dinner. Perfect for a couple's getaway, or a small group of friends that wants to relax and reconnect like us.
This hotel is 200 metres from Ponte de Nossa Senhora Da Guia and Lima River. It features a small spa area with massage services and a lush garden. Each room has a private balcony.

Ponte de Lima is a perfect place for a pilgrim on the Camino to take a rest day. Perfect place to get your laundry done properly, catch up with your sleep. Lots of nice restaurants to eat in. Many interesting alleys to walk through and enough sights to take in a day.

Ponte de Lima is a remarkably well-preserved, historically important village in Northern Portugal. It has been a crossroads for centuries. Probably for a Druids-like culture, definitely for the Romans, for hundreds of thousands of pilgrims walking the historic Camino (Caminho in Portuguese), as well as for people traveling east-to-west from the mountains to the Atlantic.
Today, Ponte de Lima continues to be an important crossroads as well as gathering space for walking & hiking, cyclists, various forms of boating (with a champion training center along the Rio Lima), horse riding, international gardening and more.
It's hard to fully explain how much cultural importance there is in Ponte de Lima for the Minho (region), Portugal (as a country), and, indeed, all of Europe in such a small village. Well worth visiting.
I spent three weeks there, fell in love with the village, and like it so much that I intend to move there.

The village is beautiful as well as the bridge, which we walked from end to end. There were several good restaurants to choose from. Everything is within walking distance. There are great sculptures spread throughout town. We would come again.

My wife and I have been visiting Ponte de Lima for 30 years.
My wife and I have been visiting Ponte de Lima for 30 years. It has changed and become much busier over the years. However, it has managed to retain its friendly low key ambience. It is still possible to recognise the town of years ago despite the changes. A truly lovely place.

Picturesque, regional town, with old architecture and great walks within the town and its hinterland. The town opens onto a broad riverfront with great views including of a historic multi-arched bridge which gives the town its name.

Ponte de Lima is a historic town, with a medieval and a Roman bridge across the Lima. Fascinating. We stayed there overnight as part of a Minho cycling trip (self-arranged).
Had a lovely supper at the Restaurante Encanada.
the moment we arrived to the hotel we were immediately welcomed by a warm and comforting staff that made sure that made us feel part of the family. Francisco (The owner) himself gave us a private tour sharing his family legacy and fascinating history of great wineries. The hotel had a very authentic, warm and yet top notch design.
The whole property was sitting on a beautiful urban garden surrounded with vineyards equipped with a warmed swimming pool, bar, and a top dining room.
This is a lovely accomodation. The appartment is very nice and modern. And with two floors with two bathrooms it is the perfect place for the family with teenagers.
The garden is wonderful and full of fruits and vegetables that you can pick.
The house is very close to both bath, cafes and the city of Ponte de lima.
Fernando and his wife is the best hosts that you can have. Hospitality and service is their keywords.
So nice and we will definitely come back.
For a one week stay, the hotel offers all the facilities working and the atmosphere to enjoy a relaxing time. Spacious room and elegant bathroom. The breakfast includes a nice variety of healthy products. The staff always got a smile, and turned out to be very caring even after we left: they could notify us about a forgotten item we left behind, and manage a way we could take it back. Very thoughtful, thank you a lot!
The location was incredible. An EASY walk to the historic center (10 minutes), yet also great to return to Arcozelo each night to a quieter part of the region. The family operating the property are wonderful. Their son, João, speaks near-fluent English. Yet they also had great patience with me as I struggled to learn more Portuguese. And the flowers? Oh my goodness. A sight to behold each morning.
The location couldn't be better. It is within walking distance to the horse show at the Expolima and to all the restaurants. The room looks new and the air-conditioning worked well. The host was extremely helpful and even researched the event I was attending to answer all my questions. The building does not have parking, but there is plenty within a short walking distance
A perfect place to stop in Ponte de Lima! The suite is well-appointed, and the bed was firm, but I slept well. The rooms are only a few steps from the church, the bridge, and the market (we were lucky enough to be here on a Market Monday). The shower is great. The place is spacious. The host has provided everything needed by pilgrims, and I will definitely stay here again.
The location is wonderful - we liked the quiet place surrounded by wineyards - it's on the outskirts of the small town, but as we had our own car, it was easy to drive to the centre of Ponte de Lima for dinner - there is a large parking lot
The breakfast on the terrace next to the pool was exceptional - it's a very welcoming place, the owner is a great host.
Everything... The host was amazing, very friendly and helpful. We had the whole top floor to ourselves with a private balcony and wash machine. The location was perfect, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Most important the host got my bags transferred to my next hotel. I highly recommend this place if you plan on visiting pointe de Lima.
Very modern, newish hotel in the far side of the Lima River parr of Ponte de Lima. Hotel is immediately at the end of the bridge, across from an Alberge and the toy museum. Very nice hot breakfast included, with bacon and scrambled eggs in addition to the standard continental fare. Room seemed almost brand-new. Helpful staff. Great stay.
It was nice hotel but with few problems. Badly working lock - to access the room (the system is modern, however it requires to present the card to the lock more than once in order to get in). Also, bad choice of options on breakfast (only pork meat) or lots of noise from the nearby street during the night. No parking belonging to the hotel.
Amazing stay, the host couple really make you feel at home!
The house, room, bathroom, and garden are impeccably clean and well maintained.
The location is the best neighborhood in Ponte de Lima, and easy walk into town.
We enjoyed the breakfast and even ate delicious home grown tomatoes from the garden.
Room was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the Roman bridge in Ponte de Lima. Breakfast was varied and fresh. The staff was also very friendly and excellent in helping us deal with some scheduling issues we had. Kudos to Paula, Filipa, Ricardo, Juan and the housekeeper.
Our best stay in Portugal. Gorgeous apartment with a spectacular view. Very responsive and helpful host. Spacious, spotlessly clean, phenomenal kitchen, and right on the main square of this lovely small town. Don’t hesitate—stay here if you can.
Very central location in Ponte de Lima. Really nice staff. Comfortable rooms. Although breakfast is not included, they provided coffee and there is a bakery downstairs where one can buy fresh bread and croissants.
It was easy to enter, had all that I needed and the bed and shower were the best I’ve had in Portugal. Easy to access from the camino route. The owner was exceptionally helpful and love and spoke perfect English.
The distnce to the town centre of Ponte de Lima is not bad. Slightly away but this provided the peace and quiet that I desperately needed. The owners were incredibly kind and won my heart.
