Good location, easy 5 minutes walk to the beaches, excellent restaurants nearby. The staff at White Shell are very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was always good and fresh and not crowded. Lunch was equally great. Evening cocktails on the rooftop terrace were very nice.

We had a wonderful family reunion, and the villa allowed us to build life time memories of sharing meals and laughter on the two terraces, spend quality time together surrounded by flowers, trees and so many types of birds. The little town of Porches itself is of no interest whatsoever. Supermarkets and restaurants are all located in or near the village resorts in the neighborhood. And there are nice harbor towns in the vicinity with good sea food restaurants. From the neighborhood of Porches many interesting trips can be made by car or by boat.H. House was excellent, very well equipped with everything provided and more extras. Air conditioning was great, pool and grounds were perfect.Had a barbecue every night on upper terrace with stunning views. Location was lovely close to beaches and short walk to supermarket and lovely town. Host was very welcoming and went out of her way to help us. After driving through the area quite a bit I felt that I just liked the environment of Porches a bit better. It’s pretty central in the Algarve, which allows for trips to Faro or the west coast, or anything in between.

The location for us was perfect as it wasn’t right in the middle of a highly touristy beach town but the closest beaches were easily walkable and beautiful. The breakfasts were awesome and we did our best not to miss the tea and cake served in the late afternoon ! And the wine bar was excellent- just for guests so it was really intimate and a great way to meet other guests. Lovely rooftop terrace with sun loungers and barbecue - nice option for dinner with sunset view :) Really liked dining space in garden and swimming pool which was just perfect spot for kids and great option if you don't want to go to the beach. Roxana is very good and caring host. We got fresh bedsheets and towels to change as we stayed over a week. Highly recomend!!! Thank you Roxana :)

A very nice little hotel, everything is perfect here. The location near the beautiful beaches of Algarve , the pool, the garden, and our suite was very nice and clean. We loved the fantastic breakfast, which was not the same everyday & the wine in the bar in the evenings. Parking was fine. The service was really great, there’s a good and familiar atmosphere, everything was fine, we will for sure come again.AAnonymousDenmark

The owners were also very nice and when I asked for a high chair on the first day it was brought to us soon after. The apartment has a lovely outside terrace to sit and enjoy a meal or a drink in the evening. It is also close to a few nice restaurants and a supermarket and is about 15 minutes from the beach. The bed is so comfortable too I would 100% go again and anyone looking for a villa style place instead of a huge hotel this is the one! We also went kayaking from here and horse riding I think those 2 are a must when visiting. Me and my female friend had such a lovely time and the jacuzzi is lovely :) Thanks guys for having us :)

Quite comfortable sofa bed. Missing only a wardrobe in a living room (when there are more than 2 guests) and some hangers for clothes or jackets at the entrance (on the hall).
