The receptionist was really helpful, check-in was quick. Breakfast was really good: plenty of options for everyone. The room was pretty quiet to be fair. The bathroom had a bathtub in it, which was a bonus as I could use it after a long day of walking. There are a few restaurants and shops nearby. For Camino pilgrims: they do have a stamp for your pilgrim passport.

Loads of shops selling linen, towels and leather handbags. restaurants a bit pushy but all part of the experience. If staying in the Pousada, hold your breath as you drive through the gateway, very very slowly!

The house is close to nature and half driving to the amazing portuguese coast, or to a nice city like Oporto. A big garden and pool perfect to enjoy reading or having conversation with others. Valença is the nearest village and its really nice place. The host give us a perfect service always with a smile. Finally I want to remarck that the house is very comfortable caring about all the details that you need for a perfect stay. Highly recommended!
