A truly wonderful place to stay! Maria has a beautifully appointed apartment and as her daughter speaks English, she was very helpful with explaining all the necessary instructions. A few games and puzzles were provided for entertainment if tv is not your thing. Close to everything in town and their recommendation of restaurants was great. Parking was right outside the front door (in a very safe town).

spread with care ,attention and the highest quality! Help was always available in spite of our poor

Our accommodation was roomy ( much better than the 12m sq. available on the River). A wonderful idea of

We felt so looked after at Casa Cisterna. Castelo Rodrigo is a beautiful medieval village that is well worth a trip and Casa da Cisterna allows you to stay right in the middle of it! Such a cosy feel and wonderful dinner and breakfast. We highly recommend it.

This is a really unique place to stay. It is in a lovely situation surrounded by nature and the organisation that run it are working towards reintroducing wild life into the area that have been decimated by land use practices. There is plenty of information in Centro Rewilding about the work that they do. The house is spotlessly clean, spacious and warm and Alexandria was helpful in showing us round and showing us where to store our bicycles. We had our own room with bathroom and the shower was the best in the world!! There is a well equipped kitchen that you can use and a large communal area with a TV. There are lots of walks in this beautiful area and so much exploring to do. Highly recommended.
