This is a recently remodeled historic family home turned into a gorgeous hotel. The best stop on the Camino! We met other pilgrims in the inviting lobby and were immediately offered beer and wonderful wine by glass or bottle for sale. Our hosts offered a “light” dinner to pilgrims for a very reasonable charge, which turned out to be the best home-cooked meal ever with more than enough. Breakfast was hot with eggs, bacon, sausage, homemade yogurt and jams and more. We also took a few laps in the indoor pool. We didn’t want to leave!

Everything! The staff are amazing-very attentive to ensuring a comfortable, serene, and enjoyable stay. We were lucky enough to spend 5 nights at Hotel Paco de Vitorino. The grounds are beautiful and include a large pool. The bed was 10 out of 10 for comfort. . It felt like we were on a retreat, yet close enough to drive to Ponte de Lima, Ponte de Barca, Guimaraes, Braga & explore the Minho region. It was an unforgettable experience!!! Thank you!!
