The rooms are clean and cozy. You are provided with a hair dryer, towels, shower gel and shampoo. There was no problem with the hot water.
The back yard is clean and provides access to a lot of activities, at least in the summer - badminton, pool, hammocks under the vineyard, grill, etc
The place has its own gas station in case you need it.
The food is good, even if the menu is kind of limited. We noticed that there were a lot of people ordering pizza from the place. We haven't tried it, but it might indicate that the pizza is great here.

It's extraordinary to meet such honest hospitality today. After our arrival, we were surprised by little sampling. I recommend this wonderful place, the owners of the hotel are incredibly wonderful people, open, generous, hospitable. We were fed very tasty, every day they came up with something different and amazing. I am very happy that I got to know these guys. The room is clean, there is a pool and sunbeds on the territory, good internet, delicious food. Very cool guys - the owners. This is the case when, when leaving, you want to hug and return. I rate it 10 out of 10 and recommend it. ❤️❤️❤️

Hi. I couldn't say if Baia de Fier is the best for shopping or food as it's a secluded mountain village. The only bonus I found is it's close to the southern starting point of Transalpina (Novaci) and the accommodation was fairly affordable.
