Environment friendly - selective waste collection; I didn't see plastic being used, The staff is extremely responsive and hospitable. Decent breakfast, good price-quality ratio. Short distance to the confluence of the Olt river into the Danube, which offers a wonderful natural setting, with a view of the white cliffs of the opposite Bulgarian shore.

It was right near our EV6 route. The town was nice once you go a couple of blocks north of the main highway through town. The hotel has a small garden area offering great sunsets over the Danube. The hotel.is basic, but perfectly adequate and clean. Bike stored area is good. Not sure if the restaurant is working, but there were numerpus restaurants in town.
