We reached Pension Cartref after a long hike on Via Transilvanica and had a lovely time chatting with Anca and relaxing in the back yard with the kittens. Anca even made us sandwiches to take with us the next morning! Amazing accommodation, hosts and cats :)

The entire house is amazing (don`t be fooled, the house is new, but made after the plans of an old house). The level of detail and craftsmanship that is seen here is just amazing. You get to see and live in a historical house but have all the modern confort you would need. The garden and the views are amazing, its just a pleasure to sit outside, enjoy the sun, the shade of the trees, look at the views and enjoy a glass of Prosecco. The property is at about 15 minutes (by car) from Viscri, so you can do a day trip in that area as well. The staff was always careful to make sure that we had everything that we needed.

Unfortunately we arrived late and had to leave very early. The location is great for a more quiet experience where you can possibly meet a few other travelers due to the shared garden, kitchen and fridge. Apartment with 3 beds in two sections was pretty spacious.
