Very friendly people and an authentic place in the mangroves. A tour through the mangroves is a must-have for every nature lover. An enormous variety of birds can be found there and if you are lucky you can also see dolphins. The view of the mangroves and the tides make the hotel a great place. There is a small jetty right near the hotel from which you can watch the sunset. The food is fresh, simple and delicious. Nothing is missing. We were treated well in English, although a good knowledge of French is generally useful for Senegal. A nice place to spend a few days!

Everythiiiiing: The owners were adorable, some of the most positive and good-hearted people I ever met. The room/bungalow we had was amazing and very functional. The staff is very nice and caring. The pools were very clean as well as our room. It looked like paradise on Earth. It was so relaxing to be there, I wish we had stayed longer. They took the time to even book us some day trips with some tourist guides they know, and we were not disappointed. They took very good care of us, and we had some unforgettable moments and lifetime experiences. The owners trusted us with the drinks, and we felt like home, just like the meaning of the word KOUNZO. Please take the time to sit and chat with the owners as this is - 1st of all - not a typical cold B&B but rather a big warm international family. 2dly - they are so knowledge of life and have a couple of amazing stories to tell. Mamadou, the host, is very helpful and kind; we didn't have enough money so he came with us to M'bour to help us finding a bank. The place is simple but clean and in a good position to go to the Fadiouth village. Very reccommanded!
