The rooms were large and clean. The bathroom was two or three times the size of a normal hotel bathroom. The Beach Club restaurant was reasonably priced and had a good selection of Thai and western foods. The beach-front area itself is very nice, but is nearly a mile away from the actual property.
Located along the beach, Chai Chet Resort Koh Chang offers an outdoor pool and free WiFi access. Rooms come with sea or mountain views.

Staff! They all were incredibly helpful, responsive, friendly and very hard working. Everything was perfectly clean and well kept. My son is a picky eater and I was a bit worried about it, but breakfast was outstanding. The location is hard to beat too. Definitely coming back.

The Du Talay is a small family-run hotel with 21 cozy rooms under Thai/German management. 4 years ago it was fully renovated. The rooms are very well equiped.
