The views are scenic and the pods are fairly spacious with good air conditioning at night. The site was quiet and it felt like having personal staff in the restaurant/cafe. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The home was as nice as the photos. The view from all aspects was beautiful- rice field from bedroom and garden area from pool area. Quiet and very relaxing place, need a car or scooter unless planning to just stay at home. Owners are a very nice family and always available- took us to local market the first day as we didn’t have our car yet, suggested places to visit. Can do your washing for normal Thailand price. Breakfast was prepared by owners - great cooks , mostly Thai cuisine which we loved. Can do your own cooking , the fruit at the market was amazing. There is a great Thai restaurant close by - need to turn left onto the main road and place is just before the traffic lights, has parking area.

Very clean, well maintained, super friendly staff who were very accommodating.
The location is far from the city but this is what I preferred.
Hang Dong has a great food market and supermarket shops around, it's easy to get arpund if you have your own transport.
Mae Wang itself has nothing interesting. However, the environment is very interesting and the fact that via Mae Wang it is possible to enter Doi Inthanon, an alternative entry point from the main point of entry, makes it an attractive alternative.
We loved the hotel and the elephants. All the staffs are friendly and kind. Everyone took very good care of us and we will definitely come back! We're glad our money went to the elephant care and to the people who take care of them.
The elephants are amazing to see walking around the hotel area. Nice, clean bungalow. Staff were plentiful and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.
