Very clean, big fridge with freezer in the room. The couple who run the Rynn are the most helpful and lovely people you could wish to meet. Set in the old town near bars and restaurants. 50m from the walking street. I think they will be a big success as the are the perfect hosts. The rooms are large suites with each having an individual boutique feel. Loved it.

Very very good price for this nice hotel with pool. There is a water slide and kids area at the pool - big plus when you are with kids. Staff kind and helpful. The restaurant nearby Hapa is very good and fair price. They had live music, which was a bit loud. Rooms were clean and nice beds.

Laid back small town with plenty of interesting choices for food. Very welcoming people, nice and smiling. There's perhaps not much to do in the evenings, but during daytime you can walk around discovering traditional Thai food and snacks at very affordable prices. On Saturday afternoon and evening there's a very popular and nice street market. The small lake or water reservoir features a great sunset view and a walkway all around the perimeter.

Check your location.
Check your location. The road can be very difficult even for good, experienced drivers. Parts are very steep and narrow with sharp bends and you need to use first gear in places. No mention of this in the adverts and another time we would use local transport as they are used to the conditions and know the roads, especially dangerous when dark and always dark after 6pm so be aware! Very nice beaches and food and some areas have beach entertainment with a live fire show in the evenings. Plenty of activities, we enjoyed kayaking on the beach. There are viewpoints marked for excellent photos. Would like to stay longer next time.

Great guest house, but id recomend more than one night ( which people usually do before hitting the islands). Trat is a lovely old traditional Thai town, with lovely old buildings and super friendly locals, how Thailand used to be before mass tourism.

Trat is a very interesting town with lots of surprising history. The lake side area is very pretty, and the museum is really good. the town is very confusing to get around and very few eating and drinking places. It's quite industrial and unfortuately our hotel (Trat City Hotel, which was very nice indeed), but way out of town. Very few tuk tuks or taxis and too far to walk to the town and night markets. We hired a motor bike for the one full day we had in Trat. our hotels' restaurant 'Harprs' was excellent but the only one around so no choice for our 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay but not memorable....we won't return to Trat on our next trip.

Low key provincial town.
Low key provincial town. Not set up for tourists, and absolutely no hustlers. Great local market, nice back streets. Locals are really into exercise, and it was great fun to wander around at sunset and see all the activity! To be recommended as a stopover for stocking up before or after going to the islands.
The location of this hotel/guesthouse is fine. A bit to bohemian/hippie like for my taste but my partner liked it as she is more artsy than me. We stayed here for one night to go to the islands Koh Mak and Koh Kood. I find Trat province interesting and would love to come back to explore this province. Very kind and soft spoken people, completely different from Bangkok. The service was great and to my expectation. The area where we stayed in is close to the commercial area of restaurants, wall paintings/murials and other things.
Super clean, lovely pool, large rooms with en-suite. Good WiFi. only stayed over as missed the ferry to Ko Chang after long journey from Bangkok airport. Trat was very quiet due to effects of covid in tourism - may be best to stay in old district as it was quite a way to restaurants. almost impossible to get a taxi ride after 6pm. The restaurant so so kindly gave us a ride back to the hotel. everyone was very kind. Couldn’t fault the hotel for what we needed.
I loved the location and the scenery - the ocean was right outside my window, I could see it from my bed! I also really liked their food. And the best thing was the awesome friendly and cooperative service, and getting to know the host family a little in three generations. Very approachable and lovely. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!
Liked the quirky artistic decor inside and out. Very cute little bungalows. Not much space but enough for a night or 2 although longer would have felt cramped.
Good air con.
Good price.
Exceptionally good WiFi...fastest speeds we've found in our Asia trip.
Quaint area if Trat.
Very quiet.
Oom, the host was such a great help with transfers and advice for ferries to the island, timetables etcetera. She also took us to the pier in the morning and can arrange transfers to and from Trat airport. Great service and she’s very friendly and helpful
Was as the picture shows. Best coffee and breakfast really good. We used the pool and walked on walkway around the dam. Staff amazing and got around room ready as soon as possible as we arrived early
Perfect little guest house in Trat. Friendly, super helpful owner. Delicious breakfast. Warm environment. Close enough to everything we needed. Helped us arrange transport to the pier.
A lovely hotel built with traditional interior in heart of old Trat. Our room was charming-on 3 floor with long windows looking directly onto a mango tree- like a tree house !
nicely located in walking distance to a lot of street food places.
beds are comfy, hottest shower we’ve had in Thailand. biggest fridge seen in a accommodation so far.
Charming place in the heart of Trat.
Great value and great owners who had loads of good advice and a tasty breakfast for a small extra cost.
Highly recommended.
Beautiful resort and very friendly staff. We were there for one night. Rooms were lovely and the resort was within walking distance to the town centre.
