After two short trips to Ankara I must admit I am very impressed by the friendliness of the Turkish people, as well as the cleanliness and good order of everything. The new railway station can be a good example, one of the nicest railway stations I have visited, and I have seen many! For the food side, I am most interested to have nice breakfast, and that is something you can get in Turkey, with lots of different olives, cheeses and vegetables, a very tasty and healthy breakfast I guess.

It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul.
It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul. Very walkable, safe for single women and not crowded with tourists. The metro is fantastic and there are many beautiful public parks!
Not many people speak English but we could get by with some limited Arabic and lots of hand gestures with accomodating city hosts.

I loved the city structure, peoples hospitality, as well as calmness . However in rash hours it was a bit annoying to reach the destinations. Since I already had been in Istanbul, I can fairly say that Ankara is much more beautiful than Istabul as a touristic city. I would definitely travel again. Not to mention that they have installed buttons for quick requesting a taxi which was nice.

I love Ankara - the awe-inspiring landmarks, such as the majestic Atatürk Mausoleum (I see it from the top floor of my hotel), stand tall as a testament to the city's proud history and the visionary spirit of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It gives such magic and confirms true glory – lights in the evening make me think of some truly enchanting atmosphere. The lovely streets of Ankara are adorned with stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and bustling markets, all reflecting the city's unique character and cultural diversity.

I didn't experience any old or interesting features there.
All the food in restaurants are more or less the same throughout Turkiye. I'm sure there are subtle regional differences. But I couldn't pick any.

Ankara is an undiscovered gem in Turkey.
Ankara is an undiscovered gem in Turkey. People think if this city only as the capital city; however, it offers many sites and attractions worth visiting and explore. The region around the hotel has many restaurants, cafes, pubs etc., the city has numerous museums, concert halls, parks and shopping venues. Furthermore, it's the most orderly city in Turkiye; hence, getting around is not a problem at all.
The members of staff were nice, they spoke good English, they were friendly and well informed. The variety at breakfast was very wide, the food was fresh and delicious. The room and bathroom were great and clean. The room was quiet, we couldn't hear any guests except when they were right outside of our door. The location was good too. The pool was nice and had a good temperature. The airport shuttle provided by the hotel was good but we preferred if it was possible to pay for it by card (had to withdraw cash especially for this).
Very clean hotel. The room had plenty of space, it was bright and the bathroom had everything you needed. The bed was very comfortable and had fresh linen. Towels hairdryer,, soap, shampoo were provided as well as a kettle with tea and coffee. Wifi works well. I also have to say that the staff is excellent, I could check-in after midnight and if you need they will also find a taxi for you. The bus from the airport (Ankara air) stops next to the hotel.
Demora Hotel is a nice business-style hotel located near some of Ankara's best nightlife. The rooms are good-sized, clean and comfortable. The only downside is the mosque that blasts the call to prayer at 6 AM, but that's unavoidable in Turkey. Even with that one minor negative, I still recommend this hotel and will stay there again next time I'm in Ankara.
The check in and check out went quickly. Price is good and in all the hotel is what it is. A hotel close to the airport. The staff is polite and helpful and patient as some travelers are already tired and demanding. Often letting their frustration hit the staff. O think they handle people with respect and being polite.
We really liked the hotel, we came with our family, the room was very quiet, we didn't hear anyone else on the floor. We really enjoyed the food in the restaurant, especially the French onion soup. The staff were very polite and accommodating. If we are in Ankara again, we will definitely visit again.
The breakfast at Grand Sera was much better than at most hotels in Turkey with plenty of choice. The room was spacious. The hotel is very well located with easy access to the fantastic Museum of Civilisations amongst other historical attractions. There is a bonus of some very good restaurants nearby.
Our trip was planned for medical purposes. Even though the hotel was a bit far from Ankara airport, the location was very good, with many Turkish restaurants around and also close to one of Ankara's major hospitals. The staff was helpful and very kind.
Clean good location near cozily 10 min restrants few shopes near by there was employee named mrs.ayda she was very helpfull and smilly but its worth 4 star hotel . Any way it was good to stay in it i advise ankara visitors to stay in it
I like the location and the service by the front office. All staff were very very friendly. Special thanks to all of them. The hotel is very close to Güven Park, which is the final station of the airport shuttle. Suitable for families.
The hotel is so close to the airport and it takes just few minutes to be in the terminal. The room was just perfect to relax in the middle of long travelling time. Receptionists were supportive and highly professionals.
Impeccable cleanliness, super quiet street and properly soundproof rooms and doors (rare for Turkey), reliable WiFi , hospitable and helpful staff. Rooms and bathroom size as of 5 star hotels. Highly recommended.
Everything was perfect , team of Divan Cukurhan is very professional and helpful. So far this is the best Divan hotel we stayed as a family in Turkey , location is good , interior is fascinating.
