The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful I have ever met in my travels. Although we slept in and missed breakfast time, they kept food for us as they knew we were tired from the previous day. They were also so helpful with giving tips on the nearby trails and getting around Alishan forest area!

Back to nature. It has a lot of walking trails with awesome views. Love the tea oil Chicken and fried stream shrimps. Best to rent a car or book for private transport to travel around Alisan as the interval for public bus iS at least half an hour.Bee HoonSingapore

We had travelled to Alishan via public transport, so the couple offered to drive us from the minsu into town for dinner, and then back again. They were so welcoming, and were also able to accomodate our dietary restrictions (both vegetarian) for breakfast, which was very delicious! We were only able to stay for 1 night, but there's so much to see at Alishan, so we're definitely looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

You definitely need some form of transport arrangement if you have big luggages because it’s located on a mountain, and there are many vehicles around. Thankfully, owners provide free transport to and from the property from the bus stops. The owners were also very nice and considerate. They even helped arrange transportation up Alishan to watch the sunrise. Overall all was great, however do note that certain things are dependent on the owners' flexibility and time. There was so much food during meals and snacks / ramen in the room. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. When we said we needed to buy tea as gifts, he let us try multiple teas and gave us helpful tips to purchase tea at their family’s store in Alishan.
