The owner is so lovely and very helpful. Even though I don’t speak Chinese, he used a translator app to give me recommendations for my journey and recommend places to eat. The location is beautiful and serene. In the morning I watched the misty mountains and listened to the birds chirping while sipping the lovely herbal tea provided by the host. I would love to come back here one day.

We stayed in the village of Nei Wan and it is a very charming area. Lots of great street food on the 'old street' and plenty of little shops. We took a beautiful walk, across the bridge and up a gorgeous mountain road with stunning views. When you cross the bridge you also find nice coffee shops, B&B's and restaurants. Best to avoid weekends as we were told the place is packed with local tourists on weekends. We were there on a Monday and Tuesday and there were not many tourists around. Finding a place to park could also be a challenge on a weekend. For natural beauty this area gets a '10' rating.
