We booked a family room for 2 adults and 3 children. The room was spacious with double storey space. The beds and comforter were soft and comfortable.
The property was tastefully decorated to give a cosy homely atmosphere. The staff on duty Parker was very friendly and greeted us when we checked in.
The coffee machine and chilled drinks at the lobby were complimentary. For those with hunger pangs at night, there were cup noodles available for free at the lobby. Very thoughtful service!
We appreciated that the staff helped us change our towels and cleared the garbage daily.
The breakfast was made in-house and the individually-plated breakfast was wholesomely good.
We had a memorable stay here while in Hualien.
Highly recommend this place for large family looking for a homely stay.

Due to a week-long conference at the nearby Tung-Hwa University with some of my students, we decided to choose this local hostel instead of hotels in Hualien city. The madam (boss) is very kind and indeed offers us free breakfast every day. It seems that we are the only guests in the entire building, making it very relaxing. The surroundings are tranquil during the night. The room is clean, and complimentary bottles of mineral water are provided in unlimited quantities, which is extremely helpful given the hot weather. A 15-minute walk will take you to the main road of the town, where there are many restaurants available.
