Nothing I write here could come even remotely close to the level of comfort and positive experience we had at 64 Zenj House. The owner was very friendly and check in went smooth. Guarded parking lot is in front of the house separated from the main road by big property doors. Room was clean and spacious (we were a family of five) with ceiling fan and air condition working flawlessly (not common on Zanzibar and we were delighted when we saw it works perfectly :)
Breakfast in the morning was something special, it started with full plate of fruits, and then continued with english breakfast - eggs, toast, butter, beans and sausages... for drinks we got tea with milk and homemade smoothie made from mango and avocado - perfect combination.
The place itself is close to the airport and around 10min drive from the center of Stone Town, so whether you need to stay for a flight or to explore Stone Town while being in clean, spacios place and have a good night's rest - this is a place to be. We recommend this place and will deffinitely look it up next time we come to Zanzibar!

I stayed 4 nights with my 11 year old son on Chumbe island. It was great to have time to feel at home and explore. Many visitors come just for the day and miss out on the lovely candle lit dinners on the sand, the crab walks and the overall relaxed atmosphere
Great snorkelling each day. Fantastic experience

This was a great introduction to the life in the islands.
This was a great introduction to the life in the islands. We enjoyed snorkeling very much with a knowledgeable and safe guided private experience. The food was good and served in unique places each meal. My 14-year old and I made great memories together here that will last a lifetime!
