Very beautiful scenery and peaceful.
Very beautiful scenery and peaceful. Asked for room change off the pond and was accommodated. Petting zoo animals sweet, but they need grooming and tended to better. Hotel restaurant food was Great. Most of the staff was too. The ducks were adorable and hung out with us by our room

The Amargosa Valley is a great value while visiting Death Valley. The rates here are significantly lower than in the park. Well worth the drive. Clean, quiet, and comfortable rooms and nice facilities. RV travelers can also take advantage of the RV park on site.

Nice small hotel near to Death Valley and the Area 51 Café 😉 with nice view on the mountains and on a small lake they built there and donkeys, ducks and geese. Small casino inside and a bar as well as restaurant and a shop 24/7.

You may need a reason to stay in Amargosa Valley.
You may need a reason to stay in Amargosa Valley. I went there to experience Death Valley and got an Area 51 and Alien Cathouse into the bargain.
Hidden gem is the Stateline Bar opposite the resort. good beer, local knowledge and a chance to leave your signature on the wall!

we really enjoyed our stay at longstreet inn. we were looking for a hotel near death valley national park and chose this one and would do it again. the room was maybe even too big for us and maybe a little pricey - but it's in the desert. there is also a gas station, a laundry room, swimming pool and whirlpool for free use. we also had dinner at the hotel. although i am vegetarian, it was absolutely fine. that evening there was a live band playing in the bar that was incredibly good and made our evening.
Tarantula Ranch made our Trip . Watching the stars and a beautiful sunrise was magical . Don’t be put off my the name there are no spiders . This was a comfortable glamping experience with Shower and coffee facilities available. I wish the owners would expand and have these in every state it is far better experience than a hotel . 5 Stars from two happy Friends
I spent one night at Longstreet before heading over to Death Valley the next day. The room was very large and comfortable. I really liked that they had a restaurant and mini-mart in the hotel. Otherwise, I'm not sure where you would buy food or other items. It's in a very isolated spot. All you need is right in the same building.
Very clean, neat property from rooms, casino, cafe to outdoor ponds, sculptures, walking areas. Everything was great. No smoke smell anywhere in hotel or casino. Beautiful mountains surrounding this desert property out in the middle of nowhere. Able to have dog with us. Will definitely stay here again!
Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and good, reasonably-priced food at the restaurant plus general sore on site. Nice pool and lake, as well as mini animal farm to occupy kids. Great place to top up with cheap fuel in the hotel forecourt and and not far to the death valley NP entrance.
great location to visit DVNP. we also visited Ash Meadow preserve close by. very fun and educational stop. The room was good size and balcony great. the staff was courteous. Very good value restaurant inside the hotel. there is also small convenience store.
has absolutely everything you need-has, casino, bar, cafe, steakhouse, convenient store all in the hotel. it was absolutely amazing after a long day of hiking to just grab what we needed without driving any further than walking from our room!
This hotel exceeded our expectations! Staff was very friendly and the room with lake view totally worth it. We enjoyed the pool and had fun at the Friday night show. Would absolutely go back there anytime for a Death Valley stop.
The hotel is located closely to death valley national park. it has an old town “ranch” atmosphere and which I thought was cute. Not the newest hotel but seemed well maintained
The location was perfect to get to Death Valley. The hotel/casino had a restaurant, gas station, store, etc. which made the stay very convenient. I would stay there again.
Restaurant in hotel, 30mins from death valley. The room was spacious. The gas station was next to the hotel with a reasonable price. The hotel was quite an experience.
