Me and my son checked in to celebrate the memory of my fiance after 16 years I lost them to prostate cancer they made my stay very comfortable it was very clean I was greeted each and every day by my name and that made me feel totally awesome they were very sympathetic to the reason I had came in for those couple of days everything about this hotel is amazing I would never check into any other hotel I have been coming to this hotel for 4 years the 4 years that I have been living here moved from Chicago Illinois to Austin Minnesota American and you rock and now they are renovating it I watch with my own eyes some of the things being done that place is going to be incredibly beautiful they are taking their time putting in hardwood floors they painted the rooms the hallways light fixtures change the shadings in the room oh my God my room was beautiful and peaceful I felt as if I was still at home thank you for a beautiful time doing the memory of my fiance

This is where I grew up. No longer looks or seems the same.
This is where I grew up. No longer looks or seems the same. Favorite places either have moved or gone completely. Some areas have improved, but a great deal have lost the charm of the past. The relocated SPAM Museum was better than before through and worth the visit.

austin is not small and not too big of a city.
austin is not small and not too big of a city. Downtown has beautiful old building a lot of history. I think it's nice to walk downtown and see how about all the business places actually have a business and not just another empty building. It's so great to see a community work so good together and be so supportive not only for austin but all the small farm communities are included too. This part of Southern Minnesota is a beautiful place to live or just visit.lindzey93 - 8.0Scored 8.0
Went for the Spam Museum and were not disappointed.
Went for the Spam Museum and were not disappointed. It was great! Across the street was a tiny bookstore that was also a treat. Visited the nature center and liked all the interactive features. Did not get out on the trails, maybe next time. Had pizza at Steve’s Pizza - so good, we ate the whole thing!

Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant attached to it where we ate dinner and that was very convenient so we didn’t have to search for a place for dinner. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and the staff during the morning were very nice.

The hotel is very nice and the location is perfect. Breakfast was generous and satisfying and I especially loved the coffee. I stayed for several days and was very much “at home “ which made me comfortable and happy.
