We also visited a local drug store, that carries a bit of everything you might need on a trip. The two ladies there were very friendly and helpful. We visited the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park for our 3rd time, first time for our friend. We really enjoyed it. Especially watching the two grizzley bears play in the water, and the sea otters are always a highlight. We took the train tour from Elbe to the train museum in Mineral. The train crew were all very friendly and informative.. Our main reason for our trip was to see the wildflowers at their peak on Mt Rainier.

There are no frills, no breakfast, but the room was clean and comfortable. It was about a 45-minute drive to the National Park. We stayed for two nights, but mainly just slept there because we were enjoying the outdoors.
