Red Roof Inn Columbus - Taylorsville, hotel in Edinburgh

What I didn't like. I booked though you. I needed a room on the 1st floor. When I checked in the client said your room is on the 2nd floor there is no elevator. I asked her to change my room she informed I had to call booking.com. well once I crawled up the stairs on all fours to my room. I called you. So the next day I was moved to a room on the 1st floor. My understanding is when booking on line, you can't request a first floor room. Otherwise I liked your site, it's the first time I booked on line. I will gladly use you again. Ty

Quality Inn Franklin I-65, hotel in Edinburgh

The Quality Inn is conveniently located off Interstate 65, just 18 miles south of Indianapolis.

Staff was unprofessional. Check-in person had coughing child that she was taking care of as I checked in. Ground door to parking lot was broken, so security was questionable. Asked for an extra blanket to cover up the security light that came through the normal curtains and the night clerk begged me to not steal it. I thought that was an odd remark. The hotel is showing its age and the ground floor room had several places where the wallpaper was torn. As mentioned earlier, the hotel light shining on the window made it seem like dawn/dusk the whole night. The sheer curtains were missing, so did not open curtains during the day (window faced backside of Waffle House). The bathroom was showing age with the tub dripping water and the sink missing the built in drain cover. The sheets appeared clean, so that was a blessing. The price was $125 night, $50 less than better hotels. Looking back, I should have paid more and stayed at a safer, well-maintained hotel.

Edinburgh premium outlet shops had amazing back to school sales and some great things for all shoppers. Conveniently located just off of I-65. The feel of Edinburgh is that of a small quaint little town where there is the potential for everyone to know your name. As a resident of Indiana , I can tell you that if you can not find something to do in Edinburgh there are plenty of small towns and Amish communities with Amish goods very close.

    Everything was wonderful.

Everything was wonderful. The Comfort inn was the BEST hotel I have ever stayed in. I will definately be back. The only thing I would avoid was the McDonalds next to the Inn. I threw most of my supper away.

I never realized that there was so much to do and see in Edinburgh. We had a good time but due to COVID we really didn’t get a chance to visit as many places we’d have liked. There were very long lines and waits just to get into many of the outlets. Some places weren’t even open during the weekends such as Atterbury/Museum and some of the shops in the outskirts. I love the fact that hotels and eateries were so close to the outlet mall.

Edinburgh was very nice and the fact that they have a very nice outlet mall there is awesome. They have very nice stores over there and you can spend a whole day or two there. Also lots of good restaurants to eat at.

Half of the guests that weekend were there for the horse show as we were. We all had to leave early before the 7 am breakfast started. Most motels will adjust but the weren’t interested even though most of us were in the same situation

The hotel staff were all very friendly even at 2am when the poor lady had to chase little children around because they were unsupervised. The night lady did a great job. We asked for more blankets and got them without hassle, and they were very conveniently located right across the street from Edinburgh Outlet Mall. There is a taco bell, Applebee's, Cracker Barrell, Starbucks, and 2 Gas Stations right next to I-65. I would totally stay here again.

The compassion they showed for our mom who was undergoing radiation therapy at the local hospital. They allowed us early and late checkout to accommodate her treatment schedule. She was exhausted and had two treatments a day for 5 days and needed a nap in between. The staff also cleaned the room on our schedule not theirs, again working around the treatment schedule. The staff is wonderful and caring!

I've stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Was surprised to see the new decor which was very pleasing. The full breakfast bar is what makes it such a great value compared to the other hotels around it. It's an hour from home which makes it an ideal weekend getaway for me with the outlet mall across the street and Brown County State Park just 30 minutes away.

Our room, and the facilities in general, were clean comfortable and quiet. They had a good breakfast in the morning, and they are walking distance (just across the parking lot) to an Applebee's and a Taco Bell depending on your preference for lunch and supper. Other options are nearby as well. We would definitely return if we come by this way in the future!

The location was very convenient and the hotel was clean and comfortable! Coffee and tea is always available, which is a nice perk. The breakfast was pretty good, too, but not many hot food choices.
