Haywood Hilton was in a great location right across the street from the show we were attending. Everything was fine except Booking.com description of the amenities. It showed the room including a mini bar, a balcony, bath robes, etc., none of these were available. Price was incorrect. The Haywood had a good breakfast and a nice room and I would stay there again by contacting them directly instead of going through Booking.com.

Great restaurants & great down home country relaxing feel .
Great restaurants & great down home country relaxing feel . Eldorado is very easy to maneuver around . I love the downtown area & I try to catch a band when they have one perform . You have to try the Laredo Grill ; their food is delicious & it has outdoor seating also .

This isn't exactly a destination type place.
This isn't exactly a destination type place. We were there overnight on our way somewhere else and to drop off a friend. Still, the downtown area is having a renaissance. Cute boutiques, restaurants and bars fill the old storefronts and at night it's well lit and very charming. It made me wish I had a day to spare for exploring. We did take an hour out for the museum about the local oil industry- cool if you like that type of thing. I also was told there are concerts and a reenactment of a historical feud. If you like Mexican food and great margaritas, hit Laredos downtown. We went there on our way north and on our way back south. Nice mix of people- young folks, older folks, families, couples. The feeling was laid back and friendly.
My family will definitely keep El Dorado (locals say El doe-ray-doe, btw) as a stop on our trips to Northern Arkansas.

I live in Brandon, Mississippi and El Dorado is actually my hometown. I was in town visiting family and I must say I love El Dorado more each visit. El Dorado is a nice little town that is underrated in my opinion.
Of our three days of traveling, this was the best hotel that we found. It was comfortable, quiet, clean. It was everything a weary traveler could ask for. The room smelled clean, which is more than I can say for the other two hotel rooms we stayed in. The staff was lovely and personable. We will definitely stay here again if we end up in El Dorado!
The breakfast very good. The cook was very nice and professional, and the food was hot and fresh. There was an issue with my first assigned room, and the desk attendant did quickly get me moved to a new room with no hesitation and was nice about it. The staff (desk attendants, cooks, hotel manager) were nice and welcoming.
Nice place to stay for a small town! Everything was nice. From check-in, to breakfast, from the cleanliness of my room, to the staff… It wasn’t noisy and my stay was pleasant! When I’m in town this hotel will be my hotel of choice!
Also the beds were so comfy.
Great location
I was able to check in at 9am instead of 2pm due to I has to decorate an event and I live 3hrs away.
Most hotels the rules are 3pm-11pm
This was my 2nd time staying here.
Check in time 2pm-check out time noon ;)
The breakfast was good for hotel food. Really enjoyed the make your own waffles and juice machine. Biscuits and gravy were a plus as well. The daily cookies offered in the lobby were also amazing.
Loved the pool, hotel is nice and quiet, able to stream Netflix, HBO, Showtime and YouTube. Shower was amazingly hot and steamy. Great location and area. Great for a weekend getaway
Very nice and clean hotel. Good location, very walkable from the center of town and ready access to the main highway. Very pleasant breakfast and exceptional pool.
The best hotel in town in my opinion. Location is excellent and close to downtown. Hotel is close to downtown restaurants, everything in walking distance
