The common areas and room were clean and smelled nice. The beds were ok for one night, but a bit firm for me for much longer. The location of the hotel is perfect for a short shopping trip to Erie. We would stay again, if not for the following...

We went in the deep of winter to experience the lake and do some hiking. Erie Bluffs State Park and Presque Isle State Park were really nice without people and bugs of summer. Everyone we met was very nice and welcoming. I loved the multi-ethnic vibes, food places, neighborhoods, and waterfront of Erie. I was invited to attend an Eastern Orthodox service at a cool little church on Sunday morning as I walked around some of the older neighborhoods. The people and the church were beautiful. The Maritime Museum and walking by the working ship yards was very cool.

We travel to Erie previously quite a few times there was our first time staying at this hotel had I had more time off work I would have liked to stay longer maybe not at this hotel itself. Me and my spouse took our kids to Splash Lagoon which was excellent very tiring we ate at Smokey Bones which was amazing everything was real close to the hotel which was good. I would just recommend that hotel stating that there's no microwaves in the room.

We loved Presque Isle.
We loved Presque Isle. We spent some time walking the trails. The layout of the city is good, so you can find your way around easily. The zoo was a disappointment. You can tell, they are working on it but it still is a sad situation.

We were lucky and had beautiful weather.
We were lucky and had beautiful weather. So we spent most of out time outside at the Presque Isle recreation areas, eating outside, etc. If we had not been so fortunate we would have visited the Maritime Museum and the Art Museum and other places of interest to us. There are also so many great eateries, and in a 4-day visit like ours we could only sample a few.

I love being on the beach at Sunset & taking pictures, watching the waves come in, being in the sand & sun. Applebee's had Great food and service, I had the steak mashed potatoes broccoli delicious 6 oz steak, my husband had a hamburger, it was delicious, grandson had mac and cheese and chicken tenders his was fine, son-in-law had shrimp, he loved it.
The breakfast was decent and included hot eggs, sausage, and potatoes. They also have Belgian waffle makers. Free coffee was available in the lobby. The room included a microwave and a mini fridge. Luggage trolleys were available. The hot tub and pool area were quite nice with fake palm trees and plenty of tables and lounge chairs. This hotel is located on Peach Street, so it is close to the major shopping in Erie and Presque Isle is only a short drive away.
It was a wonderful experience . I asked to check in late at 3 a.m., but Chris gladly agreed and waited for my arrival. He fully told me about what I can use, provided all the accessories and I fell asleep with pleasure in a clean room. And in the morning he fed me delicious food, although he shouldn't have, since I came from far away. thank you Chris, good luck to you!
The hotel is located in the middle of Erie… close to local attractions. They have an attached parking garage under the building. It is affordable and the young lady at the front desk was very friendly, speaking to my young son every time she saw us and offering him a travel guide about the area… something he really enjoys.
Love that this hotel lived up to its proud certified claim. As a transfem who still looks like a guy right now, life is tough. The one staff member who needed to use my pronouns, actually gendered me correctly. That was the first time anyone has gendered my correctly, that's by far the best part of my month.
We traveled from Utah to Maine, and this was our favorite hotel along the way. The staff was beyond friendly, our room was large, and there were plenty of breakfast options. Best of all, they had no problem with my mastiff staying. The staff loved seeing my sweet, giant pup. I would gladly stay again.
Cheap and just what you'd expect for a roadside hotel off the interstate.
Easy to reach and standard room.
No frills, and we didn't expect any.
Felt generally safe and generally clean.
Great price for a night's sleep.
It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Very relaxing. The room was the right size, not too big or small. I would really recommend this hotel. The receptionist was friendly and kind. I received a welcome snack bag.
The room was spacious, great shower
Nice swimming pool and good gym
Nice staff, could check in earlier if room was available , great hotel.
Also had a beer garden, though we didn’t check it, it seams nice
Great value, convenient location, friendly staff all make the Motel 6 in Erie a great place to stay when you're on the road. I've stayed there on multiple occasions. It's a solid choice.
Heat in the air unit made fire alarm go off. No one from hotel staff was outside with guests to provide information during evacuation or wait for fire department to reset alarm panel.
I like the old fashioned one floor motel. No halls or elevators. More secure being able to go from car directly to room.
Erie is my hometown and was there for class reunion.
The hotel was on Lake Erie, so you either had a view of the lake or the marina. The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great price for a fine hotel half way from Pittsburgh to Niagara Falls. Decent gym, swimming pool and breakfast. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity.
