Eureka Inn, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, hotel in Eureka

The landmark Eureka Inn in Eureka Town, California, is listed on the country's National Register of Historical Places.

The room was nice. The bed very comfortable. Location near old town. Breakfast was better than some. The common areas are exceptional. The tv was a large screen Roku TV. I was able to link to my Ytube account with my phone and watch all my favorite sites.

    Gorgeous redwoods and lots of hike. The town has several fun and unique shops. I highly recommend Ramones Bakery for breakfast and lunch. The Sea Grill offers fine dining and very good steaks and prime rib for non-seafood folks.

    Eureka was very pretty just not a lot to do, the mall really wasn't what I would consider a mall. The homeless population is pretty large. I wish they had more options for eating, lots of Mexican restaurants but not many American ones. If you drink diet coke be prepared, we had a very hard time finding them.

    Very interesting town I wish I had more time to spend there and explore. Apparently not so safe, a lot of homeless and drug users in the old town part, but nova-days that happens everywhere… the town has something magical about it, definitely great past there somewhere… too bad its not being cultivated. Locals seemed quite interesting and friendly especially at coffee shops and bookstore downtown.

    Great nature retreats around the city. Several amazing hiking opportunities. Fantastic views of the majestic sequoia and redwood trees. Plenty of alternatives to go dining out (although most might close a litor early).

    Eureka had some cute shops and we had dinner at a really good restaurant called Sea Grill. It's close to the Redwoods, with all kinds of things to see and places to hike, and many beaches on the ocean, with beautiful views.

    We went to visit the zoo.

    We went to visit the zoo. It was a great experience to see the animals at the zoo. We walked the elevated walk in the zoo up in the giant trees and saw a nature walk outside the zoo. We asked about that walk in the cafe at the zoo. We walked the nature walk outside the zoo and it was so peaceful.

    The staff ws extremely accommodating and the room super clean and comfy. In that neighborhood when driving through some of the other hotels looked questionable so when I arrived here was so happy I had booked it! It was a great hotel for price! The Mexican restaurant right next door was aging food too and I got a discount there because I was staying at this hotel. They also had elevators if you were staying on upper floors. Everything was easy and nice!

    The room and building were very comfortable. It is not often that I find a hotel that gives me both value and comfort, and this one satified both. The bed was very comfy and I could tell that the facilities were well taken care of. Also, I appreciated the security of having the building accessible with the key card and that all room entrances were inside the building.

    We had to leave like 1 hour in the hotel!!! We had a homeless guy pass by and stare at our room through our window. He gave us a look like he would come back later and try to do something to us…. It was very scary as I have 2 young daughters. This trip turned out to be the worst experience EVER!!! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a family. Maybe a single male yes.

    Don't mistake it as a hotel! Redwood is an RV and camping place with cabins for those who don't want to stay in a tent or don't have an RV. The cabins are very nice but very simple. There are beds, light and a place to sit. But each cabin has its own patio, too. What positivly surprised me was that the bathroom facilites where quite clean and not over-crowded.

    Nicely maintained 1920’s/30’s hotel. Very comfortable and spacious room, I was in non-smoking two double bed room. Other than the lack of food and beverage service was very satisfied with stay. Would come back if I had reason to be in Eureka area. Check out Samoa Cookhouse in Samoa, Ca if you are looking for a different dining experience.

    We loved the unique style of the rooms. Historic, but had all the amenities one would want . The room was quite spacious . The breakfast was very satisfying and gave a chance to chat with other travelers. The location was perfect as it is in the historic center of Eureka. I also liked the spacious parking lot right outside the hotel

    The rooms very clean. I tend to notice everything whenever I stay in a hotel room right from the bedsheets, sink, mirror, curtains, shower curtains and even liners. I was pleased with the upkeep. There was a microwave in the room which made reheating our take outs easy specially after long hikes at the redwoods.

    The cabins were super cute and my lil family loved them! Plus the outdoor pool and hot tub was just right for the cool Eureka weather. We really enjoyed our stay there. Plus for dog owners they are pet friendly and have their own dog run! (;

    Our room was updated and spotlessly clean. Just a couple of blocks away from the downtown area. Across the street from a grocery store. We don't understand why ratings for this hotel are so low.
