First hotel I have ever stayed at that I wanted to make sure to write a positive review on. I work on the road and stay in a lot of hotels. The staff alone are amazing. And for the price, the rooms are great! They are obviously renovating the rooms as they can so don’t mind a wore dresser or 2. The breakfast had a large array of items to choose from. Parking wasn’t an issue and it’s conveniently located by Walmart , food, and fuel. The manager constantly checked on me and accommodate me. I felt safe leaving items in my room while gone. And they perfected the room service. From making the bed to making sure the towels where plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel because my experience was highly satisfying. Thanks budgetel!

I traveled here to see my grand-baby. I did not expect the place to be dirty outside of my room, and no fresh fruit for breakfast. Only carbs and gluten which I can NOT have, so I did not get to eat breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the baby did play on the floor, but the security door lock-- unlocks with the handle which the baby (19 mths old) did all the time so we constantly had to chase him out the door. I did NOT like that at all. Not a lot of restaurant choices, too many fast foods and not great, ate at taco bell which was suppose to be the best fare, and it was eh. Ate at Nu Grille which is comfort food and it was tasty and cheap and not far from hotel.
You get your moneys worth I guess on the hotel.
Easy excess to everything and who couldn't live without a Wal-Mart store!!!!Love that. The lady at the front desk for check-in was amazingly knowledgeable and pleasant and printed out directions to go and take pictures at the Gordon Park mural on 10.8.21. I will return and stay at the hotel again apnd at that time I will have more ti.e to visit your city. Signing of from Kansas City, Missouri the home of the CHIEFS!!!!!!🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
I liked the character and nostalgia of the hotel! The proprieter was friendly and spent a good amount of time telling us the history of the hotel and the town. I liked the location...it was within easy walking distance to restaurants. I only wish we had more time because there were a number of antique shops and boutiques within walking distance also!
The hotel had a small on-site cafe that was open 24 hours. I had breakfast there. The food was good and very reasonably priced. The hotel room was very nice, with a microwave, refrigerator, iron, and coffeepot. Excellent value for the price.
We liked EVERYTHING about the property - location (tucked away on a quiet street), super clean, and affordable! And the front desk attendant, Ashley, is a gem; knowledgeable, helpful, made a great dinner suggestion, and had a constant smile.
The rooms were clean. The breakfast was good. There is several places within walking distance for food and drink. This place has the best rate in Fort Scott. I would recommend this place. Yes, I will be staying there agian.
The hotel was in a convenient location, Fort Scott National Historical Park was directly across the street. Main street was just a short walk away. It was clean, staff were friendly. The pool was nice.
It was a place to sleep. It was cheap compared to the hotel next door. It had a pool, though it was outdoors and small. It had free breakfast, if you were a starving bird you might enjoy it.
The hotel is a treat located downtown in a great location. The owner was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. I'll be staying there again in September.
