Breakfast was typical free breafast. Coffee machine was nice but I think it didn't have the dairy injection for expresso or americano flavor

Went to meet a friend.
Went to meet a friend. Ate dinner at Old Chicago as take-out. Food was good but not as hot as I would hope. At breakfast at Perkins which was exceptional. Service was great, food was good and hot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't expect exceptional stay in Gillette as previous trips were not the greatest.

Great staff! VERY CLEAN! Breakfast was ok.
Great staff! VERY CLEAN! Breakfast was ok. Mostly due to CoVid there were safe limitations. The AC IN OUR ROOM DID NOT WORK WELL. the hotels these days override the United to save money. We had it on energy saving mode at forest but it would get so unbearably hot. I tried to keep the fan on but due to the “overrides” it still shut off. I had to manually switch from fan only to ac (for those of you wondering why, when air is circulating the warm air coming back to the unit, it will warm the censors and then activate the ac unit as it relayed the warmer room temp and activated and then cools the room. Without air circulation thus a stand still! No air, no recognition of warmer temperatures: then it takes time for the censor to warm : like an hour: unlike if warmer air passed over it such as when air/fan is on to warm it). It was terrible. The ice machine was broke. I will say the view were terrible but the service and cleanliness were absolutely wonderful
Really overall great stay!!!!!

Gillette is a great historic, small town.
Gillette is a great historic, small town. We were able to enjoy a stroll down historic downtown and an ice cream date with my wife at Ice Cream Cafe. The bridge over the train tracks was a fun stop, too - although my son would've loved for a train to be moving down the tracks at the time. The Frontier Relics & Auto Museum is a must-visit location I recommend. There were a couple other museums and activities that looked interesting, but we didn't have a lot of time in Gillette.
Breakfast was great-- bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, along with breads/bagels, biscuits and gravy, juices, oatmeal with toppings, milk and chocolate milk, 4 different cereals, and waffle maker. Best hotel breakfast along our 10 day vacation. Waterpark was fun for kids to end vacation with. Wasn't overly chlorine smell which was nice that they regulated it better than most hotels!
Very accommodating as we checked in at 1 am and very friendly staff! Was worth every dollar!

Considering the low price we were surprised by this hotel, location was good for our travels. Plenty of food options locally. Being a suite hotel our room had a large fridge/freezer, cooker, hob and microwave as well as a coffee machine. Huge comfy bed and we loved the Candlewood cupboard where food and drink could be purchased.
The room was immaculate. The bed was better than my own. Clean big bathroom. Multiple mirrors - which I love. Had coffee right in the room but highly enjoyed the breakfast area. Convenient pet area right off the back of the hotel. Tons of parking.
I liked the follow up attention from Managment the following morning relating to the pool being out of service. We booked there because of the pool as we promised our 10 year old som we would get a nice hotel with a pool after 2 days of travel.
There was a loose ceiling tile in the bathroom. Also, the overflow cap fell off while I was taking a shower.
It's an older hotel so it needs some upgrades.
The bed was comfortable for a good nights sleep.
It was conveniently located for the events we were there for. Missed breakfast though, my husband got the times mixd up but Im sure it was the same "hotel" breakfast we've all become accustomed to.
Great staff and a nice hotel, especially for the price. It may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but if you're going to Gillette, you won't be spending much time sitting in your room anyways.
We did not end up staying here.
It is an old hotel and they are in process of updating.
The staff was extremely understanding, sympathetic and helpful, but we ended up at a nearby hotel.
