My experience was absolutely fantastic! Because of my excellent time at Crowne Plaza a few weeks ago, I made the choice to stay again. This is my 2nd stay at this location in 30 days. Twice in one month speaks volumes! I'd also like to make note that there was about 3 different student groups, almost 200 high school & middle school students, I DID NOT HEAR A PEEP!!!! The hotel was intentional to place these students in designated areas, so guests that were not apart of their group wouldn't be affected by the chatter of active teens. I absolutely appreciate this method and to be honest, I was completely unaware of their presence until they met in the lobby. I APPRECIATE THIS!

Really nice hotel not too fare away from downtown Washington DC. 30-40 min with car or subway.
Clean and comfortable rooms, huge space of open / shared areas, work out and pool facilities, own parking garage, beautiful surroundings close to Maryland University. Several restaurants depending on your preferances.

Breakfast was the same every day. We had the buffet breakfast but this did not include waffles or an omelette as this was an extra charge. So we wouldn’t have breakfast at the hotel another time.

There is no security on the property because My daughter and her wife's car got broken into luckly they did not take anything but if still felt like a violation and the hotel could care less and in no way helped.. so Greenbelt is not a very safe place to be.. The are does offer a few good restaurants in the area and it easy to get around.. If you wanted to stay in close to the University of Maryland it is only 14mins away.

We appreciate the proximity of Sonesta Select - Greenbelt to the Greenbelt Metro station! Due to our schedule, we have not eaten out at a local restaurant yet; we generally bring our food with us. It is easy to get around Greenbelt by car and by bus, and we have seen people using bicycles and scooters. There is nothing that we would avoid in Greenbelt, MD.

We are very happy with Sonesta Select and can recommend them highly!!! Our experience of Greenbelt was limited to the Sonesta Select hotel and the Greenbelt Metro (subway). We did shop at Costco in College Park, MD and had occasion to repair a tire at Sam's Club in Laurel, MD. Greenbelt has a beautiful public library, community center and physical fitness facilities, gorgeous parks, restaurants with outdoor seating and places to walk. The public library at 11 Crescent Rd., Greenbelt, MD, also has story hour and activities for children. Greenbelt seems to have well organized and thoughtfully developed activities for children, teens, adults and seniors alike! Impressive!CeyhanUnited States - 10Scored 10

Sonesta Select is located very close to Greenbelt Park and the Greenbelt MD Metro is nearby. There is bus transportation near the hotel to the Greenbelt Metro Station. Greenbelt Road has a variety of stores and restaurants on it. There is a Costco within about 4 miles of Sonesta Select. But the hotel is such a pleasant location (there is a fireplace and comfortable area to sit inside) that you may not want to go out at all.CeyhanUnited States
