This place was exceptional. Completely serene and a perfecting ending to our very long roadtrip. We only spent the night here because we were just passing through and wanted to wake up and have breakfast with our grandparents who live close by, but this will be the only place we stay from now on when we come visit. It was perfect and my kids loved the bedrooms.

We went for a wedding. We ate at jalapeno tree.
We went for a wedding. We ate at jalapeno tree. The lake is beautiful. The hotel was under construction, after we came home, and I read the reviews I realized the hotel has been in a construction stage for over 7 months. The furniture in the hotel is completely worn out. The pull-out couch was broken. The lights in one side of the suite did not work. We changed the light bulbs still did not work. We had to use our phone flash lights to see. On a plus side, the suite was a nice size has lots of potential but is in need of work.

If a fisherman you can walk out back and drop a line into the pond to catch bass. The hotel itself is very simple in nature with simple amenities but good carpet and paint throughout.
