We went there to see Shakertown/Shaker Village. It's one of our very favorites to visit and tour. It has the ambience of a Colonial Williamsburg, without all of the glitz and glamour. Harrodsburg has a wonderful state park with a small Civil War museum. The "old" town always strikes me as being "antebellum," although I imagine that most of the homes which seem that way are probably (much) newer.

I stopped by the Harrodsburg Walmart on my way to the Baymont Hotel. It is the nicest, cleanest Walmart I have seen in my life! The employees were friendly and helpful. I even found a shirt that I couldn't find in my local Walmart!

This is a good hotel option for Harrodsburg KY. Facility is older but the interior modernized and clean. Our room was clean and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience there. Staff friendly and helpful. A small but adequate workout room, basic breakfast offering but no pool, which was fine with us. A great value for the price and a hidden gem in comparison to other hotel offerings In Harrodsburg.

We loved everything about Pleasant Hill! It was a gorgeous location, well-maintained, beautifully presented and the people were the friendliest we met on our two week road trip. The food was exceptional and the wait staff made our evening perfect.

I love the calm, serene, simplicity of this hotel. The sheep with baby lambs. The dining room is delicious. The lack of lights in the property staying true to the original village so you can see the night sky.

The hotel is actually a converted rooming area for the Shaker community. It is very rustic, but has all the amenities which one would expect of a hotel room. They also have a nice gift shop and restaurant.

Our room was nice and its a beautiful place to walk. Very good food . Sadly we were there on Monday when all the exhibits are closed. In fact, nearly the whole town of Harrodsburg was closed

Parking was excellent, lots of empty spaces, and the room was cleaned very well. The furnishings looked in fairly new shape, and the hotel at night wasn't noisy, in general.
