This is a great place to stay. The decor is dated, but the room and bathroom were amazingly clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Location is just off the highway. We will be making this one of our stops in the future.

This is not a luxury hotel.
This is not a luxury hotel. I tried it once because of good reviews a few years back. It is dated but who cares. I just want a clean comfortable room with a refrig and micro and this is great. TV is great and good list of channels after a long drive. I have stayed here multiple times every year now while traveling. Hillsville is a blue collar town that is not thriving- a lot of closed down or run down places. We did find a good dinner place - Perfect Pizza It served a variety of foods, offered gluten free pizza and staff were very pleasant and hard working. It had a large dining room as well. The room was ok but if you open the door you would almost get a contact high and was very disappointed and inconvenienced to get there and find out they would not take cash could not get breakfast it was to small and crowded juice was empty so i ended up at mcdonald's next door

I went 5 mins down the road used same card got nice accommodating hotel then these people tried to run my card later that night again to take money from me and I wasn't even staying with them. Very unprofessional. Shouldn't try to steal money that isn't there's. Don't recommend this place to anyone
