Recommendations: Lake Artemesia, Prince Georges Mall, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Wegmans, Buddy Attick Park, DC - you figure that out
Metro accessible - walk like 30 mins or so or take bus to the train (or a car)
Then you can travel from Wheaton to Tysons, Light rail to Baltimore as you see fit. Either way you can get around without a car, just pace yourself. Let me know how i can help ( I sound like I work here lol)

I stayed at this Days Inn location for one night as part of a business trip. The price was right and the cleanliness rating was good. The hotel met my expectations for the most part. The room, bed, and bathroom were fairly clean. The AC/heat vent was a little dusty however. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to get a good night of sleep after driving all day. All though I did not indulge, there is a restaurant on site, and a McDonald's next door. There were also several restaurants and shopping nearby.
For budget conscious travelers, I recommend.

Gross room. Stains on beds and carpets. Hard beds.
Gross room. Stains on beds and carpets. Hard beds. You could hear people talking loudly in the halls at 3am. Parking was tight. Bathroom was small and the shower wasn't hot. Just a dirty out dated hotel.

The location was convenient.
The location was convenient. Check in could have been better. There should have been two front desks clerks to help with checking in and checking out. I waited in line 10 minutes just to check in after a 5 hour drive because there was another lady trying to check out and an older man also trying to check in. Also the room wasn’t bad at all. The rooms bathroom was another story. Very small so not too much room to maneuver. Also clearly there must have been a leak in the ceiling above the shower- horrible patch job and super moldy. Mold causes people to be sick that should get fixed immediately. Also cobwebs and spiderwebs under the sink by the clean towels.

Awful customer service
Falsely charged my card . I will never stay at any Best Western hotel ever again. As you can see in photo booking was cancelled for free and hotel still charged my card. Im telling all my family to never stay there and we travel to Maryland several times a year
The staff was very helpful and observes safely protocols. The hotel is clean and beautiful. Parking is free and abundant. They have complimentary washers and dryers! This was a BOON after touring DC in hot humid sweaty weather. The hotel location is close enough to DC but far enough to escape the crowds. The free breakfast take away bags were very good
I also liked the fact that the room was a suite with fridge, freezer, microwave, cook too, dishes, plates, glasses silverware and most importantly a dish washer!
I was banned from the property for filing a complaint because I was checked out by the hotel almost an hour early than what I paid for when I went to file a complaint and made another reservation to my surprise I was banned from the hotel so this hotel is horrible horrible experience I would not dare recommend this hotel to anybody and on top of that it has too much prostitution and drug use at night in which the property knows about and does nothing to stop it so no I will not be staying there anymore
THE STAFF WERE VERY HONEST.MY WIFE MISPLACED HER PHONE DURING OUR 9 DAYS AT THE HOTEL. THEY KEPT THE PHONE AT THE COUNTER FOR HER. THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. VISITORS WHO CAME TO SEE US HAVE A VERY HIGH REGARDS FOR THEIR LOVE, CARING AND ACCOMODATION
The BEDS and cleanliness. Kitchenette was nice to have. This was booked for three days after a 14 hour flight. Picked it because the "Beds were so Comfy." Wife loved the bed and how clean the hotel was. TWO biggies for her!.
It looks like I received another charge after leaving the hotel. However, upon arrival, the front desk informed me that I had already paid in full and there was no balance. And no ice maker in the room.
