Breakfast was mediocre. The bacon was not crisp but limp and sausage was rubbery.

Have stayed here several times. No frills, just the basics, which is all I need for my short stays. Always clean, pet friendly, remarkable desk clerk (Shari I think is her name).
We were in Lima to visit a college that is there. This was our second visit, the first one being four years ago. Lima has changed 100% for the better in the last four years!! It is growing and vibrant. Much of the city has been cleaned up and it gives the feeling of continuing in that direction. Good food options. Seemed to be an active arts community. The trail aroud the reservoir was lovely to walk. The city is very easy to drive around. Being from the Northeast, was not expecting many things to be closed on Sunday (and even Monday), but we worked around it.

The facility was close to the fairgrounds which was convenient since we went there for the Flat Track race. However, the area seems run down and not a safe place for my wife to walk alone. We noticed several businesses are shut down. We did eat at Cracker Barrel and Arby’s and both were excellent.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Had stayed at this same hotel about five years ago when my son was in college in Lima. Boy has it changed a lot and not for the better unfortunately. There were a lot of unsavory characters loitering in the parking lot and guests and their children running up and down the halls the weekend I was there last. I ended up asking for a different room because I was in town for the weekend attending an instructor course. Way too much noise in the halls for 11:00pm.
The location is great. It's right off the I-75. Many restaurants and shopping very close by. Rooms are very quiet. Even if the hotel was full there was no noise from the surrounding rooms because the hotel is very solidly built. Breakfast was good. Excellent coffee station available all day and evening.
The hotel was in a good location with plenty of restaurants right at it, along with a Walmart and Sam's which was handy. The room was nice with lots of space. The lovely lady in the coffee shop in the lobby was wonderful and seemed to know much more about the hotel than the desk clerks.
I like the location. It was easy to find almost right off the interstate. The holiday inn express is located near many restaurants and a couple grocery stores.
The lobby was clean and the "free" breakfast was good, they actually had more variety than other places I've stayed.
The carpets were filthy in the room. There was a bed bug. The pool was closed. And the hotel manager was not willing to discount the room or compensate considering I booked on this website. She told me I had to go through the website I booked from.
It was absolutely awful! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! It was very sketchy from the moment we arrived, until we left, about 10 minutes later! It was a place for prostitution, drugs, anything else that’s dealing, or underhanded!
Staff were kind and attentive and made us feel very welcome. We were on motorcycles and they suggested we park under the entrance so their security could keep an eye on them. Hotel was clean, good breakfast. Very nice!!
Staff was awesome took care of our needs and were very helpful!!! Hotel was walking distance to our jobsite so location was great! Staff took care of any issues we had right away!
