Estero Inn, hotel in Los Osos

Situated in Morro Bay and with Morro Rock Beach reachable within 1.5 km, Estero Inn features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, water sports facilities, free WiFi and barbecue...

We loved our time at Estero Inn. The location is perfect along the waterfront, there are lots of nice eateries and shops nearby and you can rent boats or kayaks next door. The staff are lovely, really friendly people, and the rooms are fantastic. The wildlife is spectacular too - in two days we spotted sea otters, sea lions, ospreys, divers and grebes and a bald eagle. There's so much to explore in the local area. If you like wildlife, you can walk down to the boardwalk trail or drive to the elephant seal viewing point north of San Simeon. Kayaking on the bay is recommended, and good value.

Wonderful location with beautiful views from the bayside rooms. Los Osos is an enchanting and serene secret.

Los Osos is an enchanting and serene secret. We vacation there at least twice a year. There are magical sights, i.e Elfin Park, Montana de Oro, as well as local pubs and eateries locally. If you desire a relaxing getaway from work stress and freeways, Los Osos is where you'll find serenity.

This is a lesser known little town that is just delightful.

This is a lesser known little town that is just delightful. There are galleries, restaurants, a wonderful Monday farmers' market and friendly people. But the real gem is the access to state reserves and forests, beautiful beaches and bird sanctuaries. Nearby Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo offer wineries and other opportunities.

Los Osos is one of our favorite places to visit. The weather is wonderful. There are many beautiful places to visit close by, which is great because my husband is an artist and finds lots of beautiful subjects for his paintings. It’s quiet and the people are friendly and very helpful. We can’t wait to go back!!

Los Osos is such a lovely, relaxing, sleepy little town close to Montaña de Oro. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we loved it. We marveled at how the tide of the bay changed constantly and the large cypress and eucalyptus trees in the neighborhood surrounding the bay. Sweet water nature preserve was a nice tranquil nearby walk. A town very close to nature. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting nearby Montaña de Oro amd Morro Bay.

Breakfast was next door at the Mexican restaurant and was really tasty. The room was excellent with everything you could need and a beautiful view of the ocean. Los Osos itself is a little sparse but as a stopover en route to San Francisco from LA it was ideal driving distance and provided scope for a relaxing start to a California travelling holiday. Coffees and cakes available at reception was a really nice touch

The homely, clean, and picturesque view of the room we stayed in rendered a wonderful leisure vacation for us. The food in the hotel was also very good and reasonably priced. The receptionists at the lobby were all so cordial and helpful. The location of the hotel is very close to Morro Bay, Pismo Beach, and San Luis Obispo. We are looking forward to another visit sometime in the near future.

Loved the balcony in our room (Cambria), where we enjoyed sunsets with wine and morning coffee. But remember to DRESS WARMLY! Staff was very nice and helpful. Loads of complimentary snacks available along with complimentary wine in the afternoon. Great location to visit other local towns, and not far from elephant seals in San Simeon. Also enjoyed the nearby bird sanctuary.

The themed room is a great idea. We got to peek into some of the upgraded rooms and they look great. The breakfast was quite good, kept us going for the day. The young lady who served breakfast to our room was delightful. "good morning" big smile. Great start to the day. Restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. View of the Bay.
