We have stayed there before.
We have stayed there before. It was obvious they are short staffed and struggling to keep up. We experienced the time before this stay that the rooms were not ready by 3:00. We arrived after 5 and got right in, but there were other people waiting in the lobby.I know help is hard to find in these troubling times. Hopefully that will improve. The bathrooms are poorly lit. It would be nice to see those improved.

It was a wonderful place.
It was a wonderful place. Many places including restaurants are within walking distance. Also, wineries along the Seneca Trail are in proximity to the Hotel. Bathtub was plugged room wasn't swept from pervious guest there was food along the bedside where comforter hangs view of lake was good and sunset need more fire pits should of got a discount on breakfast since it was just a plain brown bag

Through no fault of the hotel, the town if Penn Yan lacked decent restaurants. The view from our hotel room was beautiful and the location was very convenient for touring the many wineries in the area.

We came specifically for the Windmill.
We came specifically for the Windmill. It was a little disappointing in light of how it looks online but we enjoyed the day. We had dinner at the Keuka - good food, good service. Enjoyed lunch at the Penn Yan diner which deserves it's high rating. Loved the shops on Main Street. It was easy getting around.
