Pollock Pines is a beautiful mountain town! It is located in the middle between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. It is only 8 miles to historic Placerville and even closer to Apple Hill and Jenkinson Lake. Jenkinson Lake is a beautiful lake with good fishing and boating. Apple Hill is a great place to visit and get some fresh hot apple doughnuts. You could stay here and relax in quiet mountain town with fresh air knowing you are close to so many things to do!Hornsby

The rooms are huge and clean. The staff always remembers us and is so friendly. The location is great. 2 miles to our daughter and granddaughter's house and close to Placerville, Apple Hill, and 50 minutes to Lake Tahoe and Sacramento. The mountains are beautiful and peaceful. Also Jenkinson Lake is only about 5 minutes away. There is so much to do up there but the rooms are so huge and comfortable that you can relax as well!HornsbyUnited States of America

Good location tucked away in a residential part of town, but only a few minutes from restaurants, Safeway, and the freeway. The hotel is not what I expected, it was beyond my expectations for cleanliness. The staff the helped for breakfast was there to make sure there was enough food and coffee was excellent, not having to ask. I can't say anything bad for our stay, LOVED it. You don't get staff that treat you like family anymore and that is how we all were treated, LOVED LOVED everything
